This is dope. I wasn’t expecting the file integration. Best thing about this is you can use it on your phone. Big plus.

But google “photoshop portable” and thank me later. Been on that for a few years. Don’t even have to install it and it’s not even a gigabyte.

Are you under the impression every website you go to has access to your photos?

Used it many times. It's extremely good. Falls short on some things but it's very good.

sh*t I thought folks here already knew about this (thought I had seen it posted before).

I woulda put folks on game a few years ago, don't recall how but I stumbled into the creators reddit sub back in '17.

Creator also had an AMA on reddit 2ish yrs ago? maybe less.

I've read a little into this before....copyright for UI (user interface), which is really the comparison here, is not very effective on it's own to enforce. (the apple/samsung thing I believe was hardware and shape/design related, in terms of a notable case of being sued for something visually I guess you'd say. Physical design of something is a total different animal than a software interface)
---
He didn't actually steal say Adobe's code or use Adobe's code to create the app, so even if the code was copyrighted it wouldn't matter.
---
Patents would most likely be expired. I don't know how long Photoshop has been using that current interface or similar iterations of it, but it's mostly been the same for as long as I can remember. Photoshop after a quick search has been around for 31 years. Design patents expire after 15 years, Utility patents expire after 20.
---
Trademarks wouldn't make a different cause it doesn't look like, nor would I think he'd be that stupid to use photoshop specific icons, names, etc that Adobe might actually have trademarked.

Also a side note, DMCA to my knowledge is specifically geared towards actually stealing, the word being "circumvent" protections in place to give X person access to Y product/service/etc.

The dude simply created his own software himself, to be used for photo editing, not something to somehow circumvent access to Photoshop without paying.

I could be wrong though, Adobe has big bucks and I doubt that owner could afford legal battle. It's also been around long enough & has a big enough user base that Adobe no doubt has already been made aware or come across his site and it's still kicking.
