Looking at the general design of the vehicle, there is no where to urinate unless you bring a pee jar and no where to poop, unless you bring a bucket. Then, if you or someone else wants to fart, it's going to spread out easily since the cabin isn't large.
Going 150 MPH with a stinky fart cloud that doesn't go away isn't elegance.

yeah this is a pipe dream.

The most logical application wouldn't even be for passenger but for freight along fixed routes, but it makes no financial sense to even invest in that.

Considering you are getting to and form your destinations in a matter of minutes. If you are an adult I'd like to think you would plan accordingly before getting on the ride.

New York came up with this new groundbreaking tech, hundreds of miles of tunnels and it's predicted it could move 7 million people a day. It might even be out, here's a pic of the layout:

if this technology was actually practical or viable they would’ve already done it in China or Japan because those governments don’t mind using federal funds on infrastructure especially if it gives them bragging rights (see Beijing olympics). Even If this is at all possible it’ll cost hundreds of billions to lay track, make the maglev system functional, hire conductors and maintenance crews, the operating cost alone mean each ticket will cost like $40,000 and only be accessible to the super wealthy on some Air Concordia sh*t

They haven't done cost analysis yet? I can expect a ticket costing $50 for a one-way ticket and then people opting to take an Uber or taxi.

Sadly as long as we continue to have govt. bureaucracy, This level of innovation will NEVER happen; Its the same reason why we don't have Lvl 5 autonomy approved by the DOT etc. We could barely even get a railroad built and even that was incomplete, There's more money in incompetence than in progression.

Wow 29 minutes from Chicago to D.C! If only they could figure out a sure way to maintain these tracks. Same reason open track light rail speed trains are rare.
