All these verses are kinda trash tbh

The hook the best part of the song .

Finding Nemo and ball/chemo bars ruin drakes verse for me . But he probably has the best one ... the rest of them really ain’t saying sh*t.

This might be the most a*s opening to a song EVER! If someone asked, "what is the opposite of Prodigy on "Shook Ones?" This is it!

Aight so, I went and relistened and pulled up the lyrics. My thoughts before, was that Wayne k*lled it.

After relistening, Iíll say they all had quotables, the song was catchy at times.

So anyways, Iíll rate them separately.

Drake

First thoughts hearing Drake, Metaphors that hit, sounds like a better rapper than he is. Heís rather bar heavy this song, and that covers up the fact that most of his raps are simple Multis at the end of every other bar.

Still you feel them, and he has decent enough writing that he can rhyme outcome with Malcolm and make it work.

Best Bars

Like a sprained ankle I ainít nothing to play with.

Labels want my name besides an X like Malcom.

Worst bars

Swimming in the money, come and find me, Nemo.

If I was in the club you know Iíd ball, Chemo.

Kanye

Kanye feels like an evolved Drake, as far as rap technicality goes. Like every stat bumped just a little bit.

Heís also more spastic, and his rap feels more fluid than Drakes.

Best Bars

You would think I ran the world like Michelleís husband.

All the way in Hollywood and I canít act.

Worst Bars

I Stuck my d*ck inside this life until the bi*ch came.

Old Money, Benjamin Button, What, Nothing.

Raped the game young, call it statutory.

Super bad chicks giving me mclovin.

Kanyeís content was mostly terrible and his bars were garbage.

Lil Wayne

Listening again, even singing along, I was like, the fu*k this dude rapping about, for a good half the rap.

Classic Wayne problem, the Bar God usually ends up meandering and loses the point of his songs just to throw down metaphors.

Best Bars

Fresher than the Harvest

My mind shines even when my thoughts seem dark

What should I scream for this is my theme park.

Iím like Nevada in the middle of the summer.

Iím resting in the lead, I need a pillow and a cover.

Worst bars

Hello itís the Martian, Space Jam Jordan

I want this sh*t forever, wake up and smell the garden.

Easily the best bars, easy 2nd in terms of actual rap technicality, managing to fit multis in a single bar, while also having a theme and metaphors.

Eminem

Like usual, most technical lyricist, plenty of bars, but some hit a bit weak. Rapping slightly too fast for listenability.

Best bars

I'm Hannibal Lecter so just in case you're thinking of saving face You ain't gonna have no face to save

Whose staying inside of the booth truth spillin'
And spit true feelings Until our tooth fillings come flying up out of our mouths

Worst bars

Nuts they go, macadamia they go so ballistic, whoa

He's wondering if he should spit this slow

His cup just runneth over, oh no

They've been waiting patiently for Pinocchio to poke his nose

Consensus

Wayne was by far the best overall, best in bar category by a mile, second best in technicality and itís close, 3rd best in story telling.

Eminem comes in second, second best bars but still weak, best technical ability, and best story telling.

Kanye comes in third, worst bars, 3rd place for technicality, last place on storytelling.

Drake comes in last, 3rd best bars, least technical rapper, 3rd best storyteller.

Overall everyone was weak, and Wayne still washed everyone and he had lazy padded bars. Em had too many padded bars too. Kanye just didnít have any sense and horrible bars. Drake just didnít stand out beyond delivery. Though heís the most listenable of all probably, for the average ear.

Em's verse was definitely the worst.

I'd say Weezy's was best.

I guess we just in an era that Wayne really set the bar so low that muthafu*kas can't appreciate a full spectrum of lyricism.

Is it just an era to hate on Em??

He's the only one who actually seemed to "care" about rapping.
n*gga above did a whole thesis on the song and still decided Wayne "bodied" it lololololol
You n*ggas are fu*kin retarded. Wayne verse, as always, squeezing out weak a*s punchlines, wack vocal presence with childish bars.
Song is trash
But Em murdered all them n*ggas.

I don’t know if it was just me or was the song engineered horribly as the audio was either too low or it just didn’t mesh well together. I just remember hearing the audio like it was a mp3 downloaded off a phone or something at 28kbs.
