I wouldn’t consider him a villain. Everyone loved him. He only had problems with certain n*ggas

Eminem was a villain. Congress and other groups were tryna get him outta here. Moms didn’t want their kids listening to him. He was boycotted. He was deemed as spreading hate, advising the murder of gays, and raping/abusing women.... he’s banned from a country

50 was just about beefs. At what point was he rallied against to be shut down?

Oh u mean a villain to other rappers like Ja rule

I meant villian as in comic book villian.

He took throne from Hov and had everyone care about the numbers.

New York was the birthplace of hip hop and was known for lyrics and substance in the music. When 50 took over he took all the attention away from New York. The media made it seem like every New York emcee was below 50 because they weren't selling like him. And 50 pointed this out plenty of times to make them look inadequate.

There were some songs from ny that were hotter than 50 movement and they were
Lean back- fat joe, why - jadakiss , NY- jarule, jim Jones ballin.

And guess what when these songs got released 50 did everything in his power to bring the interest back to him.

Villian sh*t .. he was responsible for k*lling NY mainstream hip hop because he wanted to be the only star. Joker wanted to k*ll batman for the same reason

He was doing what 69 tryna do the right way.

I mean by right way meaning becoming the biggest thing in hip hop and was bully in the game and was still getting sponsored and a video game. Even overshadowed and passed the people he was dissing that were ahead of him.

The Ye chart battle ended him as it was the bully vs the nerd. He played into the bully with that and it hurt him a lot mainstream wise as Ye help usher in that back pack era. The tough guy sh*t played out while rappers being vulnerable was becoming a thing in hip hop.

i dont think it was what ended him

they actually touched on what really ended him in the all eyes on me above

over saturation

50 put out 3 albums and 2 g unit joints along with 35 official mixtapes between 03-07 that was all original material

the n*gga 50 was putting out music like he wasnt going to be around to spend the money

50 took the pac blueprint and made it commercial with the video games, movie's and clothes

Glorify being shot and surviving, beef with the biggest rapper and label in NY and anybody doing music with them

When 50 resurrected his career, he became a Bully and still is...

If u got shot 9 times, you would be more guarded and vigilant

I look at 50 the same way that Pac was when he came home... Both of them didn't trust anyone and didn't let everyone get too close to them.

50 dissed everyone who a*sociated themselves with Ja just like Pac diss everyone who a*sociated with Biggie.
