Was the tunnel during the mid 90ís - late 90ís really like that? I seen the videos and the club looked crazy wild lit. Anyone who was there during that era, speak on it.

Every 90ís era rapper always speaks on the tunnel as the wildest livest club in NYC history, prolly similar to Nations nightclub in DC during that era

Mine too, I was a whole 16 years old during that 98 era and down in dc too. Always wondered if it was really like that tho. Prodigyís book spoke on some wild sh*t in that club. Let P tell it tho, he had 27 ratchets and 10 razors on him alone lol

Yeah but to be fair

EVERY NYC rapper that is someone has basically told the same stories about how insane it was

If it was just one or two, it's one thing...

But a dozen of them have like documented stories there

Yes it was, went there many times in the 90's.... was the make it a break spot for new artist coming out of nyc at that time, from Wu, to Mobb Deep, Terror Squad, M.O.P. and the list goes one. The place had unis*x bathrooms where cats were always getting there chains snatched or cut the fu*k up with razors.... each boro had their own section of the club.. and sh*t could get crazy real quick. Security was super tight where they would even keep a basket up front, that had confiscated box cutters, small pistols and all types drugs...... bouncers would also duff n*ggas out who got into f*ghts and would rob em for anything they had on them. then toss them out through the side or back doors.... the tunnel was not for pu**y n*ggas at heart......real talk.

I am 34, in the year 2000 I was 13/14, so I was younger than that in the 90s. Most BXers are born in the 80s and if you are 21 you were born in the year 2000. So I donít think anyone here was at that club at that time. In fact if you think about it Jay z is 50 or almost 50 as of today, he was in his late 20s then. That means that entire crowd is 50 years old more or a little less, ainít no one on BX is 50 yet

Or not that I know of

Wow you will be 51, an actual poster who is 50 in here. All love showing respect, peace and blessings. My Aunt will be 50 next year

Itís crazy seeing every rapper and entertainer I used to watch as a young kid become early grandparent age. Itís also a great thing since it shows hip hop/ rap has golden age artists like Rockstars and Singers.

DMX passing was tragic, he came out when I was 11/12 in 98. I really grew up with his music, SWIZZ BEATS blasting while Iím going into high school and graduating.
