That's the smart thing to do. All his loyalty to Toronto ended up with him getting shipped out. But some of these idiot white supremacists mindset fans get upset and try to shame superstars when they don't stay loyal to a franchise when business and loyalty don't necessarily mix.

As a spurs fan, he needs to go to a team that can hide his deficiencies and utilize his strengths. He can't shoot and he cant defend, but he's an extremely underrated passer and an elite half court scorer. He would be a perfect 3rd option who is capable of having second and even first option nights every few games.

Hornets would be good for em.. thought about them off the top of my brain.. idk... Ball, Derozan, Hayward, Washington, Zeller.... idk man, dude can still hoop but his best days are behind him. I think he can still average 20 ppg for 2 more years

can he defend or cant he?

The bucks can't afford him but he would be a nice fit.

The pelicans can afford him and he would also be a nice fit. I wanna see the pelicans get rid of Adams and Bledsoe, and replace them with a 3pt shooting center, and a defensive SG who can get his own shot.

During his tone with the Spurs I've found out here a damn good facilitator
Would anybody put him at the point Ron Harper style?

I think his game is a little outdated, and he lacks some "It Factor", but he's done a really good job of taking on the playmaker role for a team that has some players with limited offensive skill sets. Didn't help Aldridge's negative energy looming over the team before either.

I think he could be a nice secondary playmaker and bucket getter in the half court somewhere.

Edit: underrated passer. I agree on the bucks. If it could happen somehow, they could definitely utilize him. Miami heat as well.

He should go get a ring in Miami next yr, then seek one more long term big payday next off season, whatever that number may be.

I will take him back on the raps in a 6th man role making the vet min
