my pops only played sports games, and I dont remember ever playing against him, but i know he was better than I was in Tecmo Bowl and RBI Baseball at least until i got to highschool.

My pops used to play some baseball game on the og Nintendo with me. I wouldnt know the name but he would always get the players to f*ght. I was probably 4 years old. Last game i remember him playing with me was Madden 95 for sega genesis

Yes, my dad played Tecmo Super Bowl with me on the NES. Mario Golf and Mario Tennis on N64 with me, my brother and sister together, I wouldn't describe him as a gamer but he liked playing those games with us.

Edit: He was also into Tiger Woods golf back in that game series's prime and Virtua Tennis on Dreamcast so we played those together as well.

Pops bought me a Nintendo in the late 80s early 90s..I remember playing Mario and duckhunt with him. Now my pops hates video games. He gets pissed when he visits and sees his grandkids playing them lmao

My uncle did play UMK3 with me, and beat the sh*t out of me with Scorpion

My other uncle we played Boxing and I won, because I picked a heavyweight and he picked a lightweight. I did not know the difference of weight classes when I was 7. He was like oh okay you cheater, go and beat the game. I was getting rocked and ran away

He tried back before controllers started having too many buttons according to him. This was around when the Genesis came out, he’d always accuse me of not explaining how to play right and call me a cheater

Naw my dad wasn't into video games much. We played Mario and duck hunt but that's about it. We mostly played bball, soccer, and tennis at the park.

I got my kids a nintendo switch and we play Mario kart. No kidding my 7yr old daughter wrote me a note recently saying she quit Mario kart forever.



I show no mercy round these parts. My 4yr old is just happy whenever I play with her and doesn't care who wins. My 2 yr old holds an old controller and thinks he is playing with us. Another year or so and he can come get the business too.

Oh man we used to have small tournaments between me my pops and my older brother. It would be either madden, nhl, lakers vs celtics/bulls vs blazers and them sh*ts were intense. My pops and my brother used to talk hella sh*t lol

I didnt even care if I won or lost, just them two going back and forth was pure comedy.

Him and my older step sister (butch) used to play me in madden, tekken, nba street, 2k2, f*ght night def jam and other sh*t until like 4 in the morning.

Made me the competitor I am today talking sh*t non stop. I’ll never forget they both were cooking me in tekken and n*gga said if you keep losing , your a*s gotta go to bed.

I lost and was fu*king heated. sh*t changed when he got older. Dude forgot what R1 is and sh*t. That’s my dude though. Miss them days

my pops would always cop me the systems and the one time he played a game with me he woke me up to play the mike tyson game on super nintendo and he dusted my a*s i threw the controller and that was it

My dad use to wake me up to set him up with pga golf and tecmo bowl. Had a tournament in super tecmo bowl with him, my brother, and two friends one weekend when snowed in . Good nemories
