Man 50 was attempting to make club music and rapping to women back on old mixtapes, were you not listening? What is "Get Out The Club?" Or "Surrounded By Hoes." Are these gangsta tracks??? No they are not. So what is the big differene in 50's music now than it was back in the day. The only difference I see is that he puts his lighter music out on the radio and in the videos and thats simply to sell records. Lets not act like the Lox hasnt tried this either (Ride Or Die bi*ch, Make Me Wanna omg one of the gayest songs ever straight from Jadakiss...)

It's just annoying that a lot of people who aren't familiar with the whole Hip Hop game, tend to see 50cent as the complete representation of what Hip Hop/Rap is all about. When hip hop is mentioned, they immediately a*sociate it with 50cent, and then have the view that ALL hip hop music is like that - nothing but cash and hoes (which is completely false).

And then becuase all the fame is on rappers like 50, other MC's who bring realness to their music lyrically, get no recognition simply coz they dont have mass appeal or bangin beats.

funny how every topic about g-unit turns into a hate thread
I like D-Block Much more than g-unit but
it seems as the box has too many haters
nobody's hating it's a flat out fu*kING fact!
-Gay-unit/FILTHY SCENT have no talent
-the majority of the ""11 million" purchasing 50s albums is little white kids in suburban america
-the majority of people BURNING 50 cd's and passing them out for free then sh*t-canning them is n*ggas like me

-his rap career wont last 5 more years
-your a grown a*s bi*ch
-you need to quit ridin this n*gga d*ck bi*ch
-there are for more talented (less gimmick causing) rappers in the industry
common, nas, ras kass, xzibit kurupt who keep it gritty quality over quanity

Man i v'e never read such complete and utter BS in my life.

#1 half of 50's fans either became fans at GRODT or are just fans because hes the new thing and cuz of his tough guy image.

The fact is the majority of 50s fans are just as hollow as he is, ya'll dont even know why you like him, and if you do i bet it's for nothing legitimate.

One guy said hes big not cuz of his affiliation with Aftermath but cuz hes nice and his backround of beein shot and on the street and cuz he spits street stuff for real street people.

^^ the closest street some of the people who believe this have seen is sesame st. and there is other people who are much more elaborate and spit it better not only from a negative street point but from a positive point.

#2 50 is on top because he's a co-operative marketing doll, he's got bullet scars, hes built like a bodybuilder and he can write simple and catchy songs.

how is that talent?

Pac was much more "street" got shot just as many times, yet he wasn't to cool to make songs such as "Brenda's got a baby" "Keep ya head" "Dear Mama" etc....
I bet 50's so-called fans wouldn't even except him making a track like that nor could he himself.

50 is talented but he's limited and not very versatile which in the long run will only k*ll your longevity.

Once he runs outa club tracks and a new rapper comes along who's survived 30 shots and is rappin through feeding tubes, 50 will be history.

why you think 50 is trynna sign so many people? to try and take the pressure off of him.

Give any other nice rapper as much promotion and exposer as 50 and he'll sell just as much, the only reason he wouldn't is if the majority public who purchase 50's music now, didn't think he was "gangsta" enough

cracks me up to see unexperienced silver spoon folks trynna speak for sumone like 50.
Just shutup and keep making him rich.

50 is nice cuz he knows how to target weak and insecure minds.

50 has no future unless he keeps signing people....

But hey, as ignorant as 50 is, it takes ignorant people to support ignorant people.

All I gotta say is that I can't be mad at 50 for making money. I get mad at these dumb a*s little kids who buy his sh*t and don't know anything about rap music outside of the radio or BET. It's because of these morons that I stopped listening to radio completely to keep from hearing the Mike Jones and the Gucci Maynes of the genre. And to top it off I was watching 106 the other day with Common when the showed his new video for "go!" only to have some little 15 y/o n*gga say it "coulda been better"? You kids suck.

i dont like this n*gga anymore because he's a fu*kin hypocrite, a c*ck bastard with a huge ego and a dirt bag who turned rich with help of major forces who convinced many stupid fu*ks into believing he is harder than he actually is. Sometimes i wish that someone would just sock this motherfu*ker right in his busted grill. Him and his whole crew are a bunch of clowns. Call me a hater, i dont fu*kin care...I have no respect for them whatsoever

Me, I'll be truthfull, I'm a fan of 50 Cent & G-Unit. Hate on me if you want, but look at it this way--people loved him last year before Get Rich Or Die Trying, sh*t drops, 3 months later hate him. Besdies make some stupid moves with the Jadakiss beef, which I must say, D-Block is taking more damage then G-Unit is, what else has he done? I can see if you hated him from the start, but why jump on a bandwagon, if you actully like the artist, just dont wanna be the only one what doesnt like him.
listen man...the reason why alotta people started hating him after GRODT was the fact that they didnt like it. I bought that album, DVD edition expecting to hear and see some good sh*t but when this motherfu*ker talks about Ja singing on his sh*t, labelling it bubble gum music and then doing it himself, you fu*kin right im gonna hate....come on..i mean wtf was up with that sh*t. This dude should have not said stupid sh*t like that cuz he is basically touchin the same fan base as Ja.

Now now, you prolly met them OFF Boxden, dont front.

Smh@G-Unit having things on lock for the past 4 years. Yeah, if "things" refers to their SUV doors while they riding through the hood. Rat-ass mufu*kas.
G-Unit only moves units. And yeah, you need some sort of talent to sell records, no question. But their talents involve catchy poppish hooks and making a spectacle of themselves. When it comes to actual skill, they dont match up to 75% of the mufu*kas out there. And isnt that what it's all REALLY about? Skills? Or is making poppish hooks and catchy tracks labeled as rap-skills now? Those things sh*t on lyrical content, flow and delivery now? Smh. Whoever thinks G-Unit is running things needs to run outside, go to the nearest curb, pull down their pants, get on their knees, pull out their d*ck, wait til a city street-sweeper drives buy and cleans 50's fingerprints off it and the balls attached to it. Because he's got you by them.
First off my homie, I grew up wit them f*g**t you mad. Just cuz you a Gunit hater dont mean we have to suck like you. Yall mad cuz your favorite label aint on top of the rap game like Shad/Aftermath/Gunit. smh at cats with their jealousy is everywhere. Get mad if you want to.

and we have a damn good reason to be mad good labels arent making

IE rawkus, they were never on top but had so much talent. shady aftermath is on top with bubble gum pop records that showcase ZERO talent in their records. they dont even try but people eat that sh*t up like M&Ms cuz they wanna look cool and sh*t.(no pun intended)

Is it really G-Unit's fault that the general public doesn't want to hear Rawkus muksik? You all can be mad at 50 about how he handled Ja Rule, but you cannot blame him because your favorite label doesn't have a huge following like G-Unit's. He has nothing to do with them not being able to sell any units.

yeah but back then he was doin '50 shot ya' ghetto quran, repercussions.. etc ect thats sh*ts all hot, all classics

now he makes 'in my hood', 'im supposed to die tonight', his 'hard' songs don't meet the standard...

he can make 10 candy shops for all i care, just don't pretend your gangsta and your a k*ller when ur at the candy shop, and if ya gonna be switching styles.. u have to be good at both... hes not a good 'gangsta' rapper anymore... if hed just stick to bein commercial, i wouldn't bi*ch... theres nothing wrong with upbeat lighter music... just don't claim to be something everyone in ny already knows your not...

whys everyone think someones mad at 50... i've never been mad, why would i be mad at soomeone i don't even know...

Im a tell em wut banks told me, cuz go 'head switch the style up
if ni99az hate, then let em hate, and watch the money pile up

^^^^^all i got to say about that

y'all missin the point of wut 50 is doin... he can make good "songs", good music to dance to. he isnt a lyricist, he just hops on a good beat and makes it a song.

now when ur out in the club...wut the fu*k would u rather have? nas - message to the feds? u'd have the women and men seperated like at junior high dances... no one wants to dance to real sh*t like that... now when "just a lil bit" comes on... the ladies move and thats wut its all about

u cant hate 50 for making the songs he does or compare him to your favourite underground lyricist saying its not fair... 50 isnt a lyricist at all, he doesnt make HIP-HOP music... he makes club bangers... and thats where the moneys at.

big ups to the real emcees keepin it real through all of this. the ones who dont care enough about record sales to change who they are.

g-unit is changing too.. banks verse on that olivia track is garbage and banks wasnt always a punch line rapper... listen to dont push me... totally different.. fab originated that flow.

bottom line, G-UNit makes good music, but few of their lyrics actually mean something.

game >>> any g-unit member (excluding banks) and was better off on aftermath and outa g-unit. game is doin great things now and will last much longer in the game outtin out that real sh*t. his album is a classic

WTF, Banks has been a punchline rapper since his debut on 50's "Guess Who's Back" In early 2002. Dont Push Me didnt come out until 2003. And not to mention another "he stole fab's flow" statement. Jesus Christ.
