Strange Eye-Less Creature Remains Discovered on Beach in Mexico

image

A group of beachgoers in Mexico were aghast when they discovered the remains of what appears to be a bizarre eye-less sea creature that had washed ashore. The puzzling oddity was reportedly spotted last weekend on the Pacific coast beach of Destiladeras near the popular tourist destination of Puerto Vallarta. The people who found the curious carcass initially thought it was that of a dolphin, but their theory was seemingly upended when they got a closer look at the creature.

The monstrous denizen of the deep appears to have had no eyes, nor any fins, and sported a rather long body. Since there are areas off the coast of Puerto Vallarta that reach depths of around 3,200 feet, it is suspected that perhaps the creature resides in a realm of the ocean that is so dark that it evolved to not have any eyes. As of yet, no marine biology experts have stepped forward to identify the beast and area fishermen say that they've never seen anything like it. As such, the true nature of the creature is unknown at this time.

Strangely enough, the seemingly eye-less creature found in Mexico is the third weird animal to make news after washing ashore this week as a dead 'sea monster' was discovered on a beach in Scotland and the ghastly remains of what some observers suspect was an escaped test monkey was found near an island in South Carolina. What may be behind this unnerving trend is anyone's guess, but one can only hope that it's not some ominous harbinger of things to come

Damn shame we got all the technology to go into"space"

But not to go underwater. I understand water pressure, but if we can get artifacts from the Titanic that's 12k feet underwater we should be able to work on finding out what else is in the ocean

Might be just a regular dolphin born with a birth defect. It happens.

Edit:

I take that back, that joker got some sharp choppers.
