People call Vince a weirdo because he’s smarter than them.
Dude is so in tune with so many different levels for his age.
Always be a fan of Vince. He said some real sh*t but Griselda,Mach,Al Divino ect..
changing the game charging what they want. I’ll never buy a $100 album but people are doing it. Shout to Nipsey for planting the seed as well. Sucks for the consumers if music started costing art prices but I get the point.

Shouts to hov for seeing the vision and buying 100 of them

Nipsey the first person I thought of.

Didn't he charge 1000 for one of those tapes

From Styles reaction and many other ol heads, they are less in shock and more proud that the young boy got a good head on his shoulder and can stand on his square

Yeah Nip had them for 1000. But them other dudes charge crazy prices off their Bandcamp and they are making sales even if itís only a dozen thatís a nice chunk for an album you recorded in your bedroom and simply uploaded.

I'll cop a Hommy album within that $100-$150 range. Roc Marci too. I'd honestly be willing to pay more if i had the funds. With certain n*ggas, it really is quality art to me and with the way i listen to music i definitely feel it's worth it. I'll have that physical to vibe to forever.

Really great music is priceless i think

He is right to an extent, but alot of people don't care about hiphop/rap as a craft. They just want to get known, make some bread, fu*k some ig thots, and be content. What do you do about those artists in the game polluting the art from the inside?

I have a very Nipsey Hussle- like relationship w/ him.

Few songs rock, but I like his interviews and through process more than his music.

The value of African American culture relies heavily on the music and entertainment industry, so therefore they sadly dictate the culture. We invented hip hop and cling onto it because we lack self esteem and material wealth but unfortunately, we don't control the genre and the culture. We don't control the hip hop culture; hip hop is completely commoditized and reaches the globe due to white corporate entities and white corporate culture.

The same system that marginalizes and exploits our labor is who ultimately decides who is the hottest rapper. Hip hop culture lives at the whims of white executives, so really we barely have control of who is hot. We are programmed to like what the corporate structure wants.
