Wack 100 says Biggie was not a legend in music! Little Sean responds

View this post on Instagram

You know, I’ve always watched this man Wack speak on different things in the past but, this is the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to provide commentary. Biggie wasn’t a legend in music?🤦🏽*♂️ Here’s the question: If Biggie was a legend, what was he legendary for? Probably the only thing he’s ever been known to do, no? I must say though, Wack has been able to make himself into something from nothing & I must applaud that. However, when you’re incorrect about the status of who Biggie was & is, I have to respectfully address it. Biggie’s initially climb to stardom was nothing short of remarkable because, the man came from nowhere & the road traveled has never been duplicated by anyone thereafter. Do I think Wack meant any disrespect? Absolutely not but, what he’s saying makes no sense whatsoever to those in the know, as well as the average joe that has witnessed what he’s accomplished. Not to mention the fact that the man is no longer here & in addition to that, the children that he’s left behind are old enough to comprehend what’s being said about their Dad in his absence. One must always be mindful moving forward. I have a Wack story but, it won’t shed the best light on the man & that’s not what this post is designed to do. #BehindTheSmoke Thanks to @dasmokingsection_3 for posting & tagging me

The sad thing about Biggie is that he died right after his Sophomore album. He was just getting started. Biggie didn't deserve to die

fu*k Diddy and Suge and everyone that was profiting off the East Coast/West Coast controversy

Big didnt get to see his 2nd album release. Big was already out of here though. He went platinum faster than PAC and double plat. The controversy and death increased his profile but he was going to be a super star no matter what.

Puff tried to die the east vs west thing down, Suge was not having it.

Suge thrived off of violence. He's one of the reasons why Pac died.

Wack 100 is obsessed with being a contrarion, Wack is to the hiphop culture what black Trump supporters are to general black culture. He wants love and he's a jealous clout chaser. He wants the love Nipsey got. Wack100 is so irrelevant that if he died tomorrow, his own mother wouldn't give a damn. Unfortunately, the gate was left wide open once Wack dissed Pac and never got touched. Its too late now!

One thing I will say though, is that growing up and listening to East Coast rap, I always viewed Nas and Ghostface as better than Biggie when it comes to NYC. Nas because his subject matter is wider and Ghost because he was super lyrical but also had random and funny ryhmes. GFK could rap about water dripping out a faucet and make it hot.

Thats his opinion, although I dont fully agree with it but it makes sense. He had to use BIG to make the point that death will instantly give a n*gga legend status even though when they was alive the music wasn't labelled classic or legendary. If puttin out minimal music makes you legend then what we calling LL Cool J and Dre when they pass away. We saying musically Nip more of a legend than LL? Y'all gonna start naming streets after LL from now? Get ya LL tattoos from now? Or does it take being k*lled to get all that love.
Salute to Wack for not being a sheep and opening up this debate. We need more of this in Hip-Hop.

Pac and Biggie died so young and made an impact so huge that we still talk about them 2 decades after their death. If thats not legendary then idk what is.
