Disney plus is trash tho. If it wasn’t free I wouldn’t pay monthly for the movies on my shelf. The Mandalorian is good but it ain’t worth $7/month.

I just don’t see how it’s sustainable without new content. Once the buzz of immediate access wears off then what. We’ll see.

They are in the process of making a lot of content for Disney+. It’s just not all out right now. They are developing at least 6 different marvel shows, animated shows for kids, the other Star Wars show(obi won konobi) Peter Pan live action, Lizzie mcguire(I don’t like that sh*t but it has a fandom), hocus pocus 2 which is something fans been asking for 20 years most of that within the next couple of years

So many different reasons for people to reup if they drop out a few months from now. They are making people stay by having the shows be weekly instead did all at once. Apple TV seems more in trouble than this becuase I don’t know what they are going to do. It’s a slower build for them because all their content is original. Disney has Marvel,Star Wars, Fox and their own stuff in their back pocket that they can and defiantly will go into

personally... I don't think "people" (as a whole) are in charge of the future. They'll have to reconcile the shortcomings you mentioned on their own time.

perhaps at one juncture in history they were but and I can only speak for myself here.... but when I need to "rise to an occasion" I typically do... The catch is I never want to force the occasions because then I'm not really being humble and gracious to the world around me....

if I apply that logic to how God works....

I could see it making sense in this world.

Give humanity a chance as a whole to steer their own ship. Give them complete creative control.....

all the meanwhile.... knowing...

if sh*t hits the fan...

you can just step in and take care of business.... gracefully.

I feel as if certain individuals are capable of operating on that level of creative control that is best suited for the furthering and progress of this planet AS A WHOLE. If you want to see it as a "last line of defense scenario" you can also do that. I mean you and I are both disgusted by this kind of social media mob scene... but what we're going to do about it is where we have our creative control.
