Some of us are just built different..... and that's okay.

n*ggas when I step up in a bar, f*g**ts wanna look
Like you motherfu*kers got Obie Trice shook
Like I'mma stand here as a man and
Let some queer-ass, funny-looking n*gga get the upper hand
I got issues, got no time
Got guns that mourn n*ggas' moms
Shoot up clubs and destroy n*ggas' vibes
Everybody running for their motherfu*king lives

it's weird how the anti-homo lyrics have slowly been curbed out of labels' acceptance tree over the last 20 years ( because 90% of the industry is godless and fu*kin each other behind the scenes)

but then....

the violence tolerance seems to have only grown.

people aiming guns at viewers watching their trash a*s youtube videos have only grown....

" Tear Da Club Up" was banned in 96/97 for inciting violence.

Nowadays you can k*ll someone on live TV and you're the talk of the town.

One of the things I don't like about rap is the sh*t talking a group of people in general. Put an address on it out a name on it. It's weird to be riding and listening to hear about haters, bi*ches, lames square and all of that sh*t. If I was gay I wouldn't want to hear about gay people being f*g**ts and all of that other sh*t. But when I think about it no artist has the balls to come out and say who they don't want their money to come from either.

you highlight one sentence from a broader context and try to attack it. your comments has nothing to do with the topic and that's your MO.

as easy as it is for you to find something to disagree with you would think the bigger challenge for you as an individual would be to accept when someone you don't like is right.

Because you rambled in the first half. And the broader context being what exactly?

Someone mentioned how Obie Trice’s homophobic rhetoric was a big yikes even for his time period — and then you went on this tangent about nothing.

You lack 0 self awareness and are too afraid to admit when you’re wrong about something and would rather deflect than to be like “hm, didnt know that”.

Only song with f*ggot in it that isn’t uncomfortable to listen to is Style P’s “Kill that F*ggot”.

someone mentioned a Goodie Mob scenario and then someone else sugegsted that people on Shady/Aftermath got away with more than normal rappers could.

but Ice T, Too Short, Kanye West, Joe Budden, Jay Z, Lil Wayne...... these are just a few other names who were outspoken on condemning homs*xuality through their lyrics.

Look... maybe you take offense for whatever reason... IDGAF.

but the hip hop culture of the earlys 2000s spearheaded the NO HOMO movement.... your culture that you stand up for and represent today is doing the opposite.

It is what it is man... I aint mad atcha.... get your rocks off.

Because explicitly saying you’d k*ll someone for their s*xual preference is pretty fu*king gross, my guy.

And what the fu*k do you mean by “my culture”?

I like rap in all of its forms. You pick sides because you have a myopic view of everything because you have a god complex and think you know everything.

The “NO HOMO” movement wasn’t a “movement”; it was a joke tinged in homophobia and a way of addressing sus sh*t without condemning it — which is what a lot of rappers did during that era.

No one was like “NO HOMO OR I’LL fu*kIN k*ll YOU”, dawg.

you don't see how that's a compliment coming from someone like you.

I want to be labeled as ignorant and nonsensical by someone I feel is completely out of touch with the fabric of reality and very likely a puppet to some agenda.

no strings on me my man.... get furious at it.

It won't matter what I present to you.... because you;re the one with the complex.... you can't be okay with someone you resent being RIGHT. I know I can... b/c idgaf about ya and if you ever presented me with something to consider I would.

You have a vendetta. but if you can't deal with me being right when I'm right then I'll have no problem making you realize you're wrong.

Imagine someone arguing against Hip Hop being a platform for the gay agenda over the last 10 years and also gun violence.

spineless internet over reality generation

Talkin' smart to a pimp you done broke the first rule
I'mma come on your job I'mma act a damn fool
When ya boss walk in I'mma play it off cool
If he step in our biz I'mma slap his a*s too
All that loud talkin ho need to gon' settle down
'Fore you friend have to pick ya a*s up off the ground
I got love for ya purse meaning that I love you
Married to this cheese first and I'm screamin' I do
No money for a mack mean drama for a ho
Paramedics toting you through the trauma center do'
Busted lips, broken leg, but I got my bank roll
Tried to put a struggle up so she got her eye swoll
Buying you Taco Bell but a pimp eating Steak
Corn bread, collard greens, chit-a-lings on my plate
Always late for a date and she always trippin'
She can hate my fu*kin guts but she lovin' my pimpin'

this sh*t goes hard tho

who's he talking bout then?

he talks about walking in a bar, then f*g**t + queer + funny lookin

i could see if he kept it as "fag**ts wanna look", but it sure sounds like he's angry about being sweated by a homo in a bar and ready to wild out over it

f*g**ts was interchangeable with "haters" back in 03-08

it was a way of making screw faced funny n*ggas feel worse about their predicament
