i told y'all right when he got the sh*t, i had the same sh*t last year spring.

You can't do ANYTHING, that's the treatment. No ice, no heat, no walking, no nothing. Just motionless for weeks. If you fuk around and try be tough, you can get permanent nerve damage.... which is what i thought happened to Howard. I thought he was going to pretend like he's good this season, like Nash did his last season, rob the league for one more contract and then declare he's permanently damaged and miss the season then retire.

Absolutely brother. I have it right now and I'm having a hard time touching my toes or putting my shoes on.

My nerve is super inflamed. Luckily, the pain is quite localized and not extending past my knee

You sure that's what you have?

The pain should be right at the top of your leg where your thigh meets your butt. You should have a hard time moving, you should be in excruciating pain when you attempt the thought of moving. Bending you body in any way should be a fantasy. For all intents and purposes, you should be imitating paralysis.

Anything less than that, you might have something different.

Hmm it could be different. But I do feel the pain and does feel extremely knotted up where my thigh meets my glute. Every step can be ginger.

I might be at the beginning stages because it comes and goes. Who really knows tbh. It's debilitating.

Yea, i'm not exaggerating when i say that for more than a week and a half, i couldn't move. It hurt to sleep. Just to lie down in a comfortable position took FOREVER. I never had before and wanted to go to the doctor but, i couldn't walk. So i had to look it up online. That pain i was in was typical...It's just a high 10 for pain, and then slowly the pain goes away over a week or more.

So maybe you have a surface pain and not a deep nerve issue.

Ok people, Licensed Massage Therapist here...a few things you can do for the pain. DRY FAST to get all inflammation out. I would say to try to do 3 days. If you can't fast, it's gonna take longer. However, you still want relief. What worked for me the fastest and beat was doing situps on a bigger exercise ball! I've had this injury 3x in my life, each for about a year. It hurt every single day I just dealt with the pain! Situps on an exercise ball. The key is to roll-up into your situp on the ball. It will work!

Trauma from sports is a cause, add that with Dwight was always a lil bit more top heavy than balanced it's not crazy to see him with a lower posterior chain injury like this. That along with the rumors in the magic org about roids, when you take roids you're at risk for bone deterioration amongst a myriad of other bs side effects

If you have chronic muscle tightness and back pain along with sciatica nerve pain symptoms, and you have been lifting a crap ton of weights at the gym on beast mode for 20+ years, you might have what I had, spondylolethesis. One vertebrae shifted forward out of position and pressed down on the spinal cord.

Stretching didn't do anything. Massaging didn't do anything. It was chronic pain. After getting it checked out by a neurologist, it just took him one look at my x-ray to tell me the root cause of it all.

Off topic, but does anyone know anything about neck pain? I had a long lay off a few years ago and got over zealous on the dumbbell press, had a stiff neck for over a week. Now I'm living with bad neck pain on my left side. Sometimes it feels like it's in my left trap and left shoulder. I don't really have issues benching tho. I just soldier through my works, massaging it helps sometimes. Just have pain when I'm moving it in certain directions.

For that, you'll probably have to treat with heat.

If it's a pain that kind of shifts between neck, and shoulder, and everywhere in between, that could be a pinched nerve. If you have that, you are just fuk'd. Can't really treat it. It may go away in a week, you might have it for years. Yet another injury i had, and i did have it for years.

Youíre the homie and all but no, stop telling people this sh*t.

Mechanical neck pain and cervical radiculopathy is 100% treatable. Look for an IFOMPT or FCAMPT (Canadian equivalent) accredited physio. Youíll benefit from manual mobilization and/or deep neck flexor exercises. PM me if you need more details but disclaimer - I cannot a*sess or treat online so all Iíll give is advice.
