6 Years following the terrorist attacks and Hip-Hop legend, Jay-Z dropping his Sixth studio album with the critically acclaimed "The Blueprint" two Hip-Hop legends would release their album on the same day competing against one another.

In July and August 2007 on radio stations and TV, Hip-Hop legends, 50 Cent and Kanye West began to trash talk one another claiming they would drop their albums on the same day and would see who could outsell who. 50 Cent expressed that if Kanye outsold him he would stop rapping.

On September 11, 2007 both Kanye West and 50 Cent both released their third albums. 50 Cent released "Curtis" which was greeted with mixed reviews and went on to sale 691,000 copies in its first week, debuting at #2 on the charts. This was 50 Cent's first album that wasn't #1 on the charts. Kanye released "Graduation" which received exemplary reviews with many critics and music fans calling the album a classic like Kanye's other albums in the past. "Graduation" went on to sell 957,000 albums in the first week, and debuting at #1 beating out "Curtis" by 50 Cent.

What album did you prefer? Favorite song from Curtis? Favorite song from Graduation?
