shameless stat padder, heading into his 5th season with a low chance of making an all star team, and potential BXmember D-book doesn’t allow double teams in his games
what are the typical rules for your local pick up games?
halfcourt games to 11 or 15 by 1s and 2s. Full court games to 21, 2s and 3s. Playing by 1s and 2s puts an undue value on perimeter shots.
-When playing 2s and 3s, the game is straight up. With 1s and 2s, win by 2 and ALL buckets count for 1 in "overtime."
-Offense calls fouls. If you call a foul on a layup and it still goes in, basket does not count. However, if you call "and 1," it counts. If you call "and 1" and miss, the ball is live.
-Soft foul calls should be mocked and the player should be derided. However, the call ALWAYS stands as called.
-Check the ball at the top of the key. Must pa$s first.
-If you have next game, make sure you have a representative from your 5 sitting courtside. COMMUNICATE. That way, nobody has to get in a fight.
-Related note: the teams playing have no obligation to know whose next. Figure that sh1t out yourself. -Watch where you swing those elbows. teeth won't grow back.
-No backcourt violations. Local court is too small to call this.
