Monday- Nothing happens. Guaranteed slow news day and pretty much a day off for the hard nosed self proclaimed "grinders" out there. Commentary from the weekends biggest stories comes out from talking heads and small media markets like morning talk shows and sh1t. Monday is more about trying to CREATE the narratives for the bottom feeders to cling to. Monday is also a "reach out to your audience" day.... let them know you're human and how your weekend went so that they think you're involved with them and still human... when really you just do it for a buck
Tuesday- Use to be the big day. Now it's Monday's little brother. All the grinding and hard work these socialites/ talking heads claim to be about gets put into effect on Tuesday. The work week gets under way. New video premieres and single premieres typically make it to Vevo/Soundcloud and YT on Tuesdays so you can spend some time with them. White board day. What can we introduce to the world to get them to talk about it.... What's off limits and what builds from our momentum last week
Board meetings/ closed doors/ non public discussions amongst influencers take place on Tuesdays
Also. the Joe Budden podcast records on Tuesday nights so every once in a while you'll get MAJOR smoke and mirrors type news from a big artist so that their agenda can be translated into that podcasts agenda and gain traction for the week
Wednesday- The larger platforms that have bigger audiences target Wednesdays because its the prime distraction day. On Wednesdays you're getting sick of the work week and thoughts of the weekend kick in. Major articles/ controlled news leaks and talking points arise on Wednesdays. The biggest fake news day of the week for Hip Hop and other forms of media because its the bridge for both salvation from the hard work youre putting in and the laziness of the weekend ahead... prime mental influence day
Thursday is reacting to the reactions days.... Since Wednesday sh1ts out the fake news Thursday is the first day where audience reaction can be dissected as data and put into the grinder for next week. What works? What do people not like talking about and what are they obsessed with? What crosses the line etc etc.... and what do I have to do to adapt to the audience's needs so that I can sustain
Thursday is the biggest data aggregation day and can seem like the busiest.
Friday is new music release day on purpose... because u have more time to listen to music on the weekend since most folks aren't working... it's easier to be distracted on weekends since you have free time... Friday is also the second narrative creating day of the week for the power/control obsessed... Controlling your weekend activities are just as important to the machine as controlling your week's attention.
Saturday and Sunday are the only days you naturally disconnect from paying too much attention to what's going on in the media/news/hip hop/entertainment in general... but everything that has been injected into your bias and distracted you from meaningful self growth comes into play outside of that control group that is the work week.... the weekend is the most important part of the week for the greedy/control sickos.
because you become the puppet and you share what you've learned throughout the week with the people you love and spend time with.
