"The NBA Has a BIG Problem And No One Is Talking About it"

Cliffs are that first round picks may not be ready for the demands of the league, current methods of training may overtax them before they can handle it, and a bunch of data comparing the percentages of games picks played in eras past, versus how many they play in now. Video talks about injuries to players like Simmons, Randle, Embiid, etc, and makes a pretty decent argument that it should be discussed.

It's nothing mindblowing but it's a pretty good watch. Ignore the stupid red circle, has nothing to do with anybody's shoes.

You will be just fine with overtraining if you wearing a pair of these LEGENDARY BBB sneakers.

When Lonzo reveals the New Orleans division BBB merchandise, Zion is going to regret signing with Jordan

I think you're confusing the words "big problem" with "everyone knows".

God forbid, but let's say you're dying of something. That's a pretty big problem for you. But just because no one is talking about it, doesn't stop that big problem from being a reality for you.

There’s too much money on the line for these corporations/billionaires for there to be anything about their business that’s a BIG PROBLEM that they’re totally unaware of.

He did though. ESPN ran a piece on how GMs around the league were scared at the amount of injuries happening to young players compared to years prior.

I blame it on players coming into the league with sh*t tons of mileage on them already due to the AAU circuit growing. These kids play more games during AAU than they do during the actual high school season.. year round hooping coupled with pro level training on amateur knees..It’s insane, and that wasn’t around in the 90s or 80s with that amount of games played at an amateur level.

It could be due to the trash food that younger kids eat these days. When I was growing up, it was “You gon eat what we have at home”, not eating McDonalds and whatever else fast food everyday.

Yea I agree.. I think those first couple years is what helped Kobe develop..

but loki, a couple teams are taking notice, this might be the reason the sixers be sitting their picks like Simmons..

problem is you gotta give the fans a bullsh*t excuse or they'll lose their sh*t..

I've been noticed that NBA and NFL rookies get injured way too often before they play their first regular season game. I think it's due to new age training that doesn't prepare their bodies for a long season and the young players are playing way too much high competitive games basketball in the off season as teenagers (AAU ball,etc.). How is it that old school hoopers who played in chuck Taylor's and barely supportive sneakers didnt get often nearly as much. hell Dr. J and Wilt regularly played on concrete streetball courts in the off season while flying coach in the regular season and didn't get injured like these guys are now who have better travel and training. The training regiment has most likely gotten too sophisticated that results in players getting injured before they even play a meaningful game.

Lot of guys came right out tho and contributed..some huge stars, from Moses Malone balling day 1, to kg thinkin he was a shooting guard and havin his minutes cut year 1 but still showin out and blowin by year 2, to amare showing out right away. Guys like Kobe and t mac might have benefited from those first couple years of being more restricted but who knows. There are examples both sides
