MVP stands for Media Vs Player

The media holds the power not the actual player. If they dislike you they will create an agenda against you, control the messaging and brainwash the casuals. Any educated basketball head knows Harden got robbed. Remember this is a REGULAR SEASON AWARD.

First player in NBA history to average at least 35.0 points and 7.0 a*sists per game.

Scored 30-plus points 57 times, including 32 games in a row.

Scored 40-plus points 28 times, a franchise single-season record.

Scored 50-plus points nine times.

Shot a career-best 87.9 percent from the foul line.

Set a career best with 378 made 3-pointers (second most in NBA history).

Had two 50-point triple-doubles (50-11-10 vs. Sacramento, 50-10-11 vs. L.A. Lakers).

Had a career-high 61 points twice.

Only player to have a 60 point triple double

First to tally 2,800 points, 500 rebounds and 500 a*sists.

2nd in defense deflections.

Giannis outplayed him my g. In every aspect. He was a slightly worse offensive player and on another planet defensively. Giannis had more wins, was more efficient, was better on d and on the boards, more impactful.... Harden had more points. That's it. Cmon g

Tell that to the Rockets organization and their fans lol

This is what THE OFFICAL ROCKETS TWITTER POSTED

A billion dollar organization is as petty as your average BX member

Harden is an amazing talent but how many times can ppl push his regular season stats in our face. We get it, he scores alot of points but he also fu*king holds the ball damn near all game like WB (Which is why even though he just had back to back triple double season, nobody cares cause the stats were forced) Him and WB battle it out season after season of who has the ball longer. Check the all time usage rates, WB broke the record then Harden wanted to outdo him lol.

The truth is that wins and stats are both weighted in the equation, and the guy that balances the two the best is generally given the nod.

Playing for Houston carries a 'little brother' stigma to it. Until Houston exorcises its demons (in the playoffs) , Harden is going to get snubbed by living in the shadow of winners.

Past year playoff success shouldn't factor as much as it does, but with the Warriors creating a dynasty it seems to have had an effect. I think most can agree Harden should have at least 1 MVP

I agree Harden should at least have one more because after all it is a regular season award and he puts up godly number and this mightve been the year for Harden to win another one but Giannis said

Looking back he shouldve won when WB got it for that triple double (Did it next year but dint feel special, wonder why but the first one I guess you have to) even tho he was like 12 wins off the Rockets and Harden was no2 in mvp voting that season

No he didnt.. how are you judging impact when Giannis was 42nd in minutes and Harden 3rd.. Offensively hes not fuking with Harden so to say slightly worse is downplaying the huge disparity. Who cares about boards... Giannis had 7 more wins, but keep in mind Milwaukee was the healthiest team in the league this year and in the East.

Giannis was 42nd in minutes bc his team was blowing teams out too much for him to play longer. And he averaged 28 a game on 66% ts. He was the engine of the 2nd best offense in basketball.

fu*k all that they were healthy bullsh*t either. Giannis on off :+12
Harden on off: +4

Again, he outplayed him. There's no argument for Harden over giannis. Like none.

He didn't deserve that one. He earned it by completely out playing the other guys. It wadnt close and it shouldn't have been bc he was that much better. The 3 he lost weren't that close either, bc he got outplayed by a different guy in each of those years.

You quoted Giannis had more wins, but then say its bullsh*t to talk about team health like it's not correlated...

To say theres no argument for Harden is hard headed so I'm going let you be.

James harden Defense was LAZY asf...

Half of his side step moves are traveling.

Nobody believes you, you need more people!

They forgot to add:

Score 48 points.............. and had
.08 offensive rebounds
and averaged 5 turnovers a game..

ANd if you watched games.... his dominance is disputable because he lived off ref calls, kicking his feet out to get help........... the side step is manipulating the lines of 'traveling' ....

Dude's nice but Giannis almost took a team from nowhere to the NBA east Coast Finals...

Harden's gotten smoked how many times now by the same team?

Stop .. Drop.. Shut "em Down Open Up Shop.... that's the Warriors theme song when the Rockets come to the Oracle.

I knew it would be one dummy that would quote a playoff stat about a regular season award. I even gave you a reminder this is a regular season award, but reading is fundamental.

The point is he has no meaningful stats or impact in the playoffs so you have to revert to all the amazing things he has done in the regular season. And considering how they do the awards now after the finals and all, playoff play also comes into some consideration.

I mean these are NBA players bro

If you gave most star players the opportunity to play isolation for 48 minutes; only working to improve their 1 on 1 games for 3-4 years in a row.

Dudes usage rate is in the 40s. Yall call Westbrick a ball hog and hes not even close.

In other words fuc those stats

Thats why Houston will never win

You cant win playing 1 on 1 basketball for 45/48 minutes...

An MVP actually is apart of the team.

Point is the MVP is a regular season award so leave it at that... tell me what's Giannis meaningful stats or impact in the playoffs since you and others cant seem to get that MVP is about regular season.

Playoffs doesnt come into consideration because voting is turned in April....

You just exposed yourself that you dont know what you are talking about.
