The new album just dropped and it's fu*kin dope. Glad he redeemed himself with this one because At What Cost was disappointing as fu*k after The God Complex and And After That We Didn't Talk

I liked At What Cost, that’s the album that got me into his music. Summatime, Pray Everyday, and Kokomoe Freestyle was hard.

Ion know, I like GoldLink newer stuff, where he’s rapping more. His upbeat stuff will help him sell but when he’s rapping it’s better.

Edit: Bumping the album right now. sh*ts dope, got good vibes

Last 3 years, America started accepting the Naija sound a lil more. They're still ignorant as usual tho. They call every African sounding song Afrobeat

I like this song, Yard, Spanish Song and Swoosh

Yard Spanish Song Rumble and the Pusha T track are the toughest songs. GoldLink put out a solid project.

I thought this dude would be a flash in the pan after Crew but this isn't bad

Is this guy African? The afrobeat stuff in this thread has me intrigued... any of his fans tryna put me on? Which album should I check out first?

Any other "afrobeat" albums y'all recommend? Kind of a weak year for rap so far I need more new music in rotation

He’s going on tour this yr with Tyler. I’m hype. Every single he’s dropped for diaspora has been dope so ima give this album a spin today. He’s been very consistent with his album quality and the tracklisting looks strong as hell. I can see this getting spins all summer.

All of his projects are dope
Check out his first project “the god complex”

He jumped out rapping over the soulection/electronic type beats which was dope.

His joint “spectrum” off of and “after that we didn’t talk” was dope. But that was a dope follow up to “the god complex”

I’d say pick any project he has there will be a few joints you’d enjoy

Check out At What Cost, that’s his most famous project. It had Crew on it. Dudes not African I think he’s just from DC he does that Wale soul/dance vibe. He might be black Latino He’s related to Alpo too lmaoo it’s on his wiki somewhere
