May 26 - Japanese mass shootings...

I've figured out how to get the same results as Japan. We take the Constitution 100% literal as some politicians have suggested but we take it from the literal meaning from 1787. Civilians can bare arms but only the ones that were available at that time. So you can only have muskets Kentucky rifles and one shot pistols...and possibly small canons. That way if you need to shoot anyone they know you mean business. Cuz it's gonna take you a minute to reload...you can't hide behind suppressing with bullet fire.

It just needs updating. In 1787, pretty sure they didn't think there were gonna be machine guns and fully automatics.

Rifles, hand guns and shot guns should be okay but all the other fully automatics should be reserved to military and sh*t

Yeah but if they miss with the black powder you can charge and get em. AR just goes off with the trigger pull. No need to reload stuff n prime...

Full autos are pretty much all military already. Nobody has been using military (full auto/selective) weapons in mass shootings.

Edit: in Vegas I believe the shooter used bumpfire, which while not the same as full auto, and at the time legal, is similar.

Comparing Japan to the U.S. is a major stretch. Japan is a scared passive aggressive society that takes things out on themselves which is why the suicide rate is high. Even if guns were more available in Japan than in the U.S. the Japanese people wouldn't use them. Shame is a big deal over there. Japanese people won't cross the crosswalk at 1 am with no cars coming until the signal says they can pass.

I understand stand that. But with the shootings in the US we need to take from somewhere. Doing the same thing and expecting different results that's insane matter of fact it's about the definition of it
