DIPSET made Supreme worth a Billion

Jim Jones talks about Harlem's impact on sneaker culture, how him and Juelz Santana made Supreme worth one billion dollars, and he rates Dipset's most legendary outfits.

Nike SB definitely did...

Jim Jones just want to be remembered for something and wants to take credit for sh*t. They were on ONE shirt! Yes it might be one of their most iconic shirts and put a lot of people onto Supreme. But it really had nothing to do with building that brand.

If I was going to say any hip hop group catapulted Supreme as a brand, I'd give it to Odd Future. When the Dipset shirts came out I was like "Cool, Supreme getting recognized in the hood." OF made the name mainstream and I knew from there all the corny white kids are going to be into it now. "They're gonna k*ll it", which they have.

Fam I don’t even fu*k wit “odd future” and I know that. Odd future made supreme cool in the hood. I don’t remember dippset rockin no supreme sh*t. Harlem gotta chill they still had a big impact on the kulture no disrespect but not supremes success.

i agree that NIKE SB really did it for supreme but,
at the turn of the millennium dipset gave them a good look, a long with other tees that helped build their brand

I said Nike did, for the mainstream

For me it was Harold Hunter

But none of those artists you named wore were bigger than OF. Maybe Cudi, but he wasn’t wearing it every photo shoot or mentioning Supreme as much as Tyler n em. Not that many people were as big as Odd Future when they had their wave.

Does supreme actually have their own product?

or do they put their logo on other products via partnership or something?
