If a white person made that song Diddy,Drake, kanye and everyone else would be trying to ride the wave. They would have got a capsule collections too. Look at Post Malone and Ariana Grande. Y’all letting all that sh*t slide .

what's that got to do with white country fans being mad at a black dude for getting a wrangler deal?

fact is they not liking this deal purely because dude is black. the song is more or less irrelevant because if it was a white dude that made the song and hit it big, him getting a wrangler deal wouldn't even be news...and these complainers wouldn't be talking bout how this is a rap song trying to be country or whatever

You could go back even further in history to the middle ages in Spain

The horses and traditions of the original cowboys come from Spain... when it was ruled by Moors

And the muslims brought their horses and traditions from their original homelands to Spain

One of the comments said something about the price . I APPLAUD all them country fans for protecting THEIR genre. Only in hip hop do we let people disrespect us and take away from the culture. Them white folks knows he is not of their culture .That song is a mockery to them. We should be looking at white artists the same way.

It’s all music bro. That mentality of “ours” and “theirs” not doin sh*t for your kids and/or grandkids. It perpetuates the same fu*k sh*t that has plagued America and humanity in general for centuries. Unless you sayin only one particular race should create and consume rap, and same for country.

You can’t make rap or any music genre exclusive without making its consumption exclusive. If it resonates, it will be consumed by whoever it resonates with. And if it inspires, it will be imitated/replicated/interpreted as well, regardless of the race of the listener. Comes with the territory.

We are all human beings.

Recently, country has been implementing elements of rap into the genre and the fans have been eating it up. Now when this kid comes into the picture with his style, the fans are mad. It’s crazy.

First off country music isn’t their genre.

There’s 275 plus million white people here.

And 35 million black people.

It’s white people that are makin this dude have a smash hit and will be carrying his career if this ain’t a fluke.

Is he a country singer? Don’t know don’t care and it don’t matter.

White people dont need black people for hip-hop music like just like with all past genres.

Ur narrative is idiotic..... but is woke bx at its finest
