Nope. He's going.

He'll be relegated to 4 nationally televised games a year, and one Sports Center 10 Ten Plays dunk highlight per game-night.

He gotta just suck it up and deal with it for a couple of years. No need to go back to Duke and risk millions.

This the funniest reach since “how the Lakers can make the playoffs with less than a 5% chance”

I’d love to see them do the lottery with Zion again next year and watch NY and LA end up with even worse picks and see how they try and spin it again

I hate that he's in New Orleans. If you listed the worst outcomes for this lotto, that would probably be up there, right behind Memphis.

So they want a 19 year old kid who is broke to go back and be broke for another year and some change and possibly rip his knees up in the process?

I felt so uneasy watching the Draft Lottery last night in regards to how ESPN was parading around Zion when in fact he still has the option to return back to school. No collegiate players should of been present at the draft lottery last night.

Why would he come back to school? so he can watch Coach K not actually coach and get bounced in the Sweet Sixteen?

It's not even a LA or NY specific thing outside of those fanbases. Fans were prepared to see him possibly go to Cleveland or Phoenix as well. Even he was prepared for one of those possibilities

I think the general sense of "What The fu*k" is more so a matter of it being The Pelicans (again). The worst run, smallest small-market team. It just feels like we've seen this movie before with AD. We all know how it ends.

Really the worst possible, most anti-climactic end to a year of major hype and speculation. Basically those a**holes get to waste everybody time again, with another generational star

David Griffin wont make that mistake, again. I think he learned from the lebron returning on how to build a “winner”.

Going back to school doesn't help Zion in the least bit. Yea it would be a middle finger to the Pelicans, but ultimately, he'd be playing for free with no less media attention.

Why not get paid for having a camera in your face?

Word it wouldve been dope to see him in PHX, ATL, or CHI in my opinion.....but not garbage a*s new orleans....now we have to wait years just to see him leave in free agency
