Dr. Dre Compares Artist He’s Working with to Kendrick Lamar

"Last week, Dr. Dre was guest on LL Cool J’s Rock the Bells station for Sirius XM. In an hour-long conversation, he shared a few stories on the history of NWA, which wasn’t present in Straight Outta Compton, including growing up a few blocks away from Eazy E. However, outside of conducting one of his most candid interviews ever, the Doctor opened up on an artist he’s working with. Dre confirmed that he was 30 songs in with Baltimore artist K.A.A.N. – citing that he reminds him of Kendrick Lamar. Considering the legacy K. Dot has left behind, this is a very big co-sign from Dre.
