T.I. Compares Himself To Tupac

T.I. is a good artist, but his catalog doesn't touch Pacs'.



"His comments were met with mixed reactions on social media. “You are a great artist but you ain’t no 2pac! Stay humble or get humbled,” wrote one Instagram commenter, while others agreed. “You the greatest. Period,” said another fan.

Many pointed out other rappers who were more deserving of the title including JAY-Z, to which Tip had a response. “Respectfully to da goat…what major feature film he [starred] in?” he replied."




This isn’t the first time T.I. has associated himself with Tupac. He dressed up as the late rap icon while paying tribute to him at the 2017 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, where he performed “Keep Ya Head Up” while wearing a ‘Pac-inspired outfit.

The controversial remarks come as Tip gears up to release his new single “Playas Ball” featuring Snoop Dogg tonight. He can also be seen alongside Cardi B and Chance the Rapper in “Rhythm + Flow,” Netflix’s upcoming hip-hop talent competition."
