Life After Death, 22 Years Later

At the time of Biggie's death everyone regarded LAD as a masterpiece and a classic. But is it really a classic? Or did we just say that at the time because of Biggie's death.

IMO had he slimmed it down to 1CD then no doubt it's a classic. But 22 years later, the album doesn't hold up like like it did 22yrs ago.

Not a classic anymore IMO.. a good CD that's 4 out of 5.. but not a 5.

Prolly my favorite song off the album

Album was damn near flawless. Production, lyrics, flow, delivery, beat selection

Could've seen the album goin witout 'my downfall' tho theres a lot of songs on the album wit that same vibe

I think the poll results are definitive. Just as good today as it was then imo. Biggie don't play

that sh*t was a movie to me, prob one of my fav hip hop albums ever.

Scorpion is going to be viewed as a classic album in the future. It has massive hits, a dramatic opera-like sequence of tracks related to his beef with Kanye/Pusha, high replay value, unprecedented success in the streaming era, and an iconic cover art. Kids in the future will be doing the Keke dance and singing along to Gods Plan. That's a guarantee.
