All these points are well known. Cook needs to resign for no innovation. Manufacturing has to be moved from China. Price point cannot be same as laptop.

Possibly, they missed their sales forecast and sales have decreased drastically. Just because a few people have had to upgrade to a very expensive phone, because of the price they won't upgrade as often as they used to.

Tim Cook cared more about generating revenue than innovating. It's obvious. Other manufacturers became what Apple was supposed to become looks/innovation-wise.

Missing the boat once can be forgiven, but doing it over and over shows a pattern that should be a concern

The whole debacle showed its blunders with the iPhone 5C, then the release of the 6/6s put things back on track, then another blunder with the iphone 7 trumped by the iphone 8 release merely 1 year later, then the X 2 months later with a ridiculous price hike

then the Xs, XsMax and Xr the following year released within the same period way to not only saturate but fragment your releases, with a naming convention that makes no damn sense

That's not innovation

Never seen them advertised a special or discount front page on their main web page for their flagship device. So yeah, I do think they are having issues hitting their earnings.

They will have to look into investing more into the Apple Watch / Earpods phoneless tech going forward.

I always say the last real iphone was the 6s. The 7 and 8 were just updated clones of the 6s minus the aluminum 7000 series metal, took out the Touch ID “button”, headphone jack and added just a newer cpu. The x’s are trash. Tim Cook need to go. Like many already said he was just focused on revenue instead of innovation. Now they gonna go and copy Samsung designs for the next one, they have to play catch up because other manufacturers are going to beat them. People are gonna have a hard time with the “iMessage is everything argument”
