Watergate took 27 months only involved 9 people and the was no electronic communications.

Why would one expect an investigation spanning 3 continents dozens of players and encrypted electronic communication to take any less.

He's not saying they are directly the same. He's making a comparison between a prior criminal investigation into election foul play by the president (candidate in Trump's case), and noting that the Watergate investigation took 27 months, so based on precedent, this investigation shouldn't be expected to take less time. Additionally, he's saying, because any potential crimes committed by Trump and/or his campaign may be more difficult to investigate due to more advanced modern technologies being used across 2-3 different continents, we could expect the present investigation to take even longer than the Watergate investigation, which he stated only involved 9 individuals with no electronic communications.

no he's trying to draw a parallel when both things are completely different from one another that's why I said what I said bc he's clueless and reaching hardbody...no need to spoon feed me i'm not one of those gullible n*ggas on here...there is no valid comparison to be made between those except the word "impeachment" and "sitting president"

Props. But your break down, no matter how factual or logical, will never matter to these folks. They'll play dumb, talk in circles around it, and continue their programmed troll narrative.

Ah, I see what you're saying. Yes, they are very different situations and investigations. However, it is really the norm for these types of investigations, regardless of the type of crime, to go on for multiple years. I will say I do look forward to hearing Mueller's final report and proceeding from there whatever the outcome.
