Steven Adams is having the third-best offensive rebounding season in NBA history

image

Thunder center Steven Adams is in the midst of a historic 2017-18 season.

Since the NBA began differentiating offensive and defensive rebounds in the 1973-74 season, Moses Malone and Charles Barkley are the only two players to average more than five offensive rebounds per game.

Malone averaged 6.9 offensive rebounds per game during the 1981-82 season and 5.7 per game during the 1982-83 season. Barkley, on the other hand, pulled down 5.1 offensive rebounds per game during the 1988-89 season.

Entering play on February 13, Adams has pulled down 5.3 offensive rebounds per game.

There's another mention. Go ahead and tell everyone how old I am now (lie about my age)

Imagine how much boards he would average if Westbrook let him grab some defensive rebounds nah but this is very impressive.

So hoe a.ss KD had a walking 30 pt triple double future MVP in Westbrook.
A shot-blocking stretch 4 in Ibaka.
A 3 & D guy in Roberson(in the series vs GS he shot 40% from 3).
The most underrated and productive big in the league in Steven Adams.
6th Man of the Year caliber player in Dion Waiters(check what he did in that GS series).
One of the most skilled low post scores in the league in Enes Kanter.
One of the best shooters in the league in Anthony Morrow.
etc

and his bi*ch a.ss still couldn't get it done wit all that, he had to join Steph Curry and the Warriors to win a ring but I'm supposed to respect this n*gga?

Gtfoh.

I will slice this whole argument to shambles with one felt swoop of the blade... U ready?

Russell Westbrook doesn't play winning basketball, he plays "over .500 basketball" not playoff winning basketball, he is a regular season MVP type.. Like what they used to say about Peyton Manning before the ring, but in the case of Westbrook it's much more warranted.

So this whole list revolves around a fallacy, that Westbrook is actually good enough to win the chip, and that Durant was holding him back.. and I mean when u look at it that way, KD has 1 chip and another on the way.. Who's really gonna have the last laugh here? It's already done, Westbrook is never gonna win, they aren't even better than the Rockets..

Stopped reading right there. You give KD all deez fu*kin excuses talkin bout you can't win wit Westbrook, no KEVIN DURANT couldn't win Westbrook. Give LeBron dat fu*kin roster and a 3-1 lead he gon close da fu*kin deal and if he didn't close the deal I know you wouldn't be givin him that "Westbrook don't play winning basketball" excuse either. Miss me wit dat stupid sh*t.

Explain, in great detail why steph curry plays winning basketball and Russell westbrook doesnt. Bc I know you're full of sh*t but I wanna try to make sure you know why too.

Oscar Robertson was way better than Russell westbrook too. It's not even fu*king remotely close, the fact that comparison is even thrown around is disrespectful, Robertson put up #'s like that as a rookie, not as a 28 year old player who's blatantly padding stats and struggling to keep his team in the playoff race... Let me know when Westbrook wins the chip and then that discussion can even begin.

Star power is what draws ratings, it's generally why (casual) people watch sports (and emulations of sports such as Esports and fake wrestling)... Westbrook is an infated star, with inflated stats and an inflated ego. He's not a transcendent talent, Durant is..

He do got style tho, I'll give him that. I'd rock some of that crazy sh*t once a month. fu*k it, why not?

Dion Waiters wasn't a 6th man of the year candidate that year and is very inconsistent, Kanter is not playable against GSW, and Morrow wasn't playable either lol the fu*k...yeah they created matchup problems for GSW but their bench was a.ss compared to GSW who could go 10-11 man deep compared to 7 maybe 8 in OKC.

I didn't say Waiters was a 6th Man of the Year candidate for the year, I said he gave them 6th Man of the Year production in THAT SERIES. Kanter is playable against GS if you know how to use him, Morrow as well.

If that OKC roster was so weak, tell me why the Finals MVP of GS went on the radio and said out his own mouth OKC was the better team and shoulda won. Explain that to me.
