y'all know what it is, eventful week in the NBA now it's time for your favorite unbiased MVP standings
last week's
1. Harden
2. Kyrie
3. Lebron
4.
KP
5. Giannis
6. KD
7. Dame
8. Curry
9. Boogie
10.
Blake
-----------------
Embiid,
DeRozan, Kemba, Towns to follow
this week's
1. Harden (man is still filling the stat sheet even with the return of CP3, the "three time MVP" is looking to win his "fourth"
)
2. Kyrie (mask off, still getting it done smh how long will Boston streak continue also at this point I'm sure Brad Stevens would've been doing the same thing with Josh Jackson
)
3. Lebron (man is still the best in the game, don't know why so many of y'all BX fools hate, still inconsiderate on D but eh they're winning now so what's the excuse?
4. Giannis (the Bucks were 4-0 since the Bledsoe trade until Saturday's giveaway to the Mavs, but Giannis shot selection and field goal % has gotten better and I'm sure their defense will get back on track with all that length, Giannis is something else)
5. KD (this is interesting, whenever he's out there's this narrative that "GS is better without him, "they don't need him" and while it seems true you can't deny the dude's worth, he's basically their Gronk to the Patriots and when he's out there he's the best player hands down and makes Curry look second fiddle, which is hard to do
)
6. Dame (I'm sure y'all not really following the Blazers and Lillard doesn't get the attention he deserves but he is balling. period. and dishing at a high rate instead of jacking up them suicidal three's, they went 3-1 this week and although it wasn't tough competition Lillard is leading the way in a no excuse Western Conference and have them at 9-7
7. Curry (if it wasn't for Harden, LeBron & KD being naturally gifted and better than Steph and Kyrie not winning more he would be higher, chef is playing more to the hole and getting it done, don't like his efficiency this year but he's probably the engine that will make sure they get to the Finals whether KD is hurt or not)
8. DeRozan (we all know he could ball, but he's now focusing on his playmaking and defensive responsibilities and boi the Raptors are winning, they went 4-0 this week including that impressive W over Harden on Tuesday)
9. Boogie (playing smarter and is beasting, DeMarcus and The Brow are putting up Shaq #'s (27 ppg & 13. 2 rpg) and he's also dishing for the first time in his career(5.2 apg!!), the only question is can he keep it up and stay out of trouble all while resulting in W's for NOLA?? (they're 8-7 currently)
10. Embiid (I'm starting to trust the "Process"
mainly because of Ben Simmons who would find his way on this list in the immediate future but for now Embiid is balling and if they would've got the W against the Warriors he maybe would've been higher but at just 8-7 you can't really trust Philly but i think Embiid is scratching his name on a DPOY and all-star berth easily
--------------------------------------------------
KP fell out due to a horrible week but he follows, then Kemba, Beal, Towns, & Whiteside
slap if you got a better 10
