There will be. If they offer a 6 speed manual, I might pull the trigger on it. In black

That's a great effort from Kia. I'm really feeling the car and the aftermarket support is probably gonna be retarded.

Upscale version of my old Genny...

They learned from Hyundai and now are incorporating the lessons into the Stinger...

I was 300 whp in my 2.slow and I loved my 8 speed auto....

Time to go and take a test drive...

It's a genesis motor wrapped in Kia.

I don't get why people buy cars that hold no re sale value.
I understand all cars diminish but some substantialy more then others. Kias and hyundais are a great example

I was waiting on this and the model 3. Wasn't trying to pay over 30k so I ended up copping a FR-S. It looks fun, so I may test drive it if I see it at a dealership.

I'm in the same boat. Looking to replace my 2012 optima in a year or two. Looking at the stinger, Genesis g70, and the Tesla model 3.

As opposed to what? Only vehicles that hold value are honda, lexus, and toyota.
Genesis and Stinger are a German knockoff where asia is trying to get more luxury sport market.

I've never resold a car neither has my mom. Keep it until it breaks down or pass it on to a younger family member

I would wait till the standard 35% depreciation on Kia's and Hyundai's then purchase should take about 2-2.5 years

If they were selling the V6TT loaded out for under $40k...MAYBE

But $55K for fu*king KIA?

No way I'd pass on a C43 AMG for a Kia at the same price range. I don't know anyone else who would either.

Base price is 52k and loaded is 67k for that C43.

So you're comparing a loaded stinger to a base C43 then. Not really apples to apples.

I agree the stinger loaded is probably a good 5-7k too expensive, but it still is a great deal compared to comparable Audi, BMW,etc.

It sort of is Apples to Apples, that's the problem. That's gotta be Kia's direct "competitor" at that price point.

Base model C43 AMG Sedan > Loaded Kia...Keep it a buck. The base model finishes on the Benz will always be nicer than anything Kia puts out. Especially an AMG.

I'd concede maybe if the Stinger was AWD, but there's probably a better option as far as Audi's or xDrive Bimmers go too.

If they could get this car loaded down to the $40-42k range (would make the lease terms make sense)...It would be a wrap though.

The powertrain warranty is 10 years or 100k miles..and you get 5 years roadside a*sistance with the purchase of a kia.and jd power just rated kia number 1 in initial quailty. That means it has less problems per vehicle than Toyota, honda, lexus, etc

But at the same damn time 55k is kind of expensive..Maybe this would be a great lease car imo or buy two years down the road after some depreciation..

Most people would choose the Benz anyway given the opportunity.

And there is awd options on all tiers of the stinger. It's a extra 2k if I remember correctly.

I was personally hoping for the 40-42k range earlier this year when they had rumors the base would start at 28k.

Once the tuners get ahold of it, this car might be insane but 55k for it? Nah you're in vette/gt350 territory easy with that.
