eh not impressed until it's fully electric

3 hours to fully charge a battery via induction charging? That leads me to believe the battery can cover about 50 mile or less range by itself before the engine takes over to recharge/power the wheels. Haven't done any actual research but to my knowledge the numbers speak for themselves

it's just an add-on to what's already in place but an improvement in a way I guess... My advice, don't purchase because it's gonna be short lived, the next-next rollout will either have much larger batteries (with more aggressive re-charging) that can cover about 100 miles before hitting the fuel tank, now THAT would be a significant improvement

PS: YEP I was correct lmao

"The 530e will travel about 30 miles on electric power alone at speeds up to 87 mph. That is, it will if you never put the gas pedal on the floor. "

and the total HP is 294, eehhhh nah brah

I had a Fusion Energi for a few years. Rated for 22 miles on a full charge.

I literally got gas every 2-3 months for 3 years.

Go to work, plug in and get full charge. Go home, plug in and get full charge.

All depends on your driving habits.

It looks dope but I'd be worried bout catching fire.like what happened with fisker.

3 hours ain't bad. Bmw will bring it out another company will perfect it and make it accessible to everybody.

I think you missed the point... Like guy before you said if you don't drive a hell of a lot longer than 30 miles on an average day you could go months without refueling. As soon as you get back charge it up. For someone with my lifestyle right now this would be a dream. But I'd you frequently make long trips it wouldn't help much

Fuel will always be more convenient but it's about Cost efficiency over time and environment

I leased that car since I wasn't sure how great the tech would work over time.

When I turned it in, I needed something bigger so upgraded to the F150.
