Most athletes would probably share those sentiments, as staying in peak physical condition — especially NBA Playoffs condition — requires actual game time action. There is only so much a Versa-Climber and practice sessions can prepare a basketball player for.

“I feel worse,” James said. “I feel worse when I don’t play. No advantage at all. Not for me. You get days off, but for me, I’d rather be playing.”

Have any of you played sports before? The human body is always adapting as an athlete, especially a player of his caliber. When you play that intense for such an amount of time & don't feed the craving for it your body reacts to it. It's basically a high. It's been well documented things of this nature happen. Runners who don't run for a day, or gym users who don't lift, get anxious & moody because the endorphins you get from running/lifting aren't being release. It's basically & naturally coming off an athletic high. And when you don't get your fix? You get sick. Some of you need to get out more.

Lebron still works out though and I'm sure he still practicing. He might not go hard full 100, but its not like he sitting around doing nothing. The season started October and they're still playing. It definitely helps

Oh most deffinitely he still puts in work & it helps.l But i was talking about playing like the way he is now. It's well documented he tends to coast through the regular season & turns on his switch for the playoffs.

Ido push ups every day, every hour for a 8-10 hrs...if i skip a few days and go back to my normal routine, i feel it and feel weaker...No different me skipping on cardio/weights...etc...

If someone takes a nap/go to sleep too long it sometimes has adverse effects...

Excerise & fitness is basically a good habit. You build yourself up to it so much when you don't have it? You tend to react differently. Our body longs for that high we get when we lift. It's a brief clip but Arnold explains it pretty well. We get satisfaction from fittness.
