The Fate of the Furious: Vin diesel Removed Post Credit Scene

Vin Diesel reportedly removed an end credits scene in The Fate of the Furious featuring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham.

As reported by TheWrap, the scene was supposed to be a tag at the end of the film that would set up a spinoff movie with Luke Hobbs (Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Statham).

image

The scene was allegedly filmed because producer Neal Moritz and Universal were so impressed by Johnson's and Statham's chemistry throughout the making of The Fate of the Furious. "They had early screenings where Johnson and Statham popped so much on-screen together that they were looking at doing a spinoff," said one of the outlet's sources.

Moritz, due to Diesel's and Johnson's real-life feud, is said to have had the scene filmed without Diesel's permission. His sister, executive producer Samantha Vincent, notified Diesel of the tag, which reportedly enraged him so much he immediately had it nixed.

However, another source told TheWrap the scene was never supposed to make in the theatrical cut, but instead will be included as bonus content for the movie's home release on Blu-ray and DVD.

Ah. I knew it.

Something felt crazy off about the end.

I was expecting a post credits scene period.

Let alone one about those two.

On another note.

They need to crossover King Kong/Godzilla with Pacific Rim.

What a fun little film King Kong was. Very well shot and executed.

I hope jordan vogt-roberts goes no where near the comic book sh*t.

Not yet anyway...
I would def be down for a Hobbs & Deckard Spin-Off movie.. Sure it'll be alot better than the franchise itself lol !

on the Pacific Rim joint.. Ehhh... I didn't really enjoy Pacific Rim that much tbr so.. it should stay in its own lane imo.

Closet thing we're gonna get to a Gundam or a Evangelion type deal.

Everybody's got a connected universe these days.

If 2pac and Biggie have one. Why not King Kong/Godzilla.
Kong/Godzilla is already coming along with all the other Godzilla villains. Don't think they should throw Pacific Rim in though

its was better than expected. Given im not one of the few who sh*t on this franchise, i wasnt expecting much since Bryan died.

-Tyrese is still the funniest one in the movie
-Michelle is still the best actor in the franchise...lol
-The Rock still running around with lil shirts. Muthafu*ka too big to be that charismatic lol
-Luda is still the corniest person in the movie
-Theyre getting less iconic with the cars. Ot used to be alot of famous persons cars, but i only recognizes 3 in this one. Blue rocketbunny owned by one of the stancenation guys, Red corvette ive seen at sema and in a few chevy mags, and the Bentley I believe ive seen in a few places.

They keep getting better and better integrating car stunts. They bring back an 2 old characters which tie into the story. This movie was alot more violent than previous ones. I didnt see this in theater cuz i had low expectations but i wish i had. It wouldve been a better experience. If you wanna see good car stunts, explosions, and a cool lil script that ties the previous script with this one go see it on the big screen.

Theres no setup for the next movie, well there is somewhat but not really. Vin a corn for cutting out the post scene if it was over personal sh*t. Hopefully is just a creative difference and he doesnt want to go that story route just yet.

Seen it in theatres on Friday night n it was pretty good to be honest. Definitely agree with u on the violence aspect. Much more guns than I remember in previous ones. Only thing I got to disagree on is Tyrese...his lines are cringe worthy. Especially in this one.

Yea the homie said the same but it really seems Tyrese has no written script he just says what anybody would feel in the situations hes put through. I feel u though maybe sometimes he overdoes it

You cant tell me when he said the part about getting his selfies up at the end that wasnt funny? Or when he told short girl she dont want luda cuz he a nerd he cant give you that work?
