If anyone has the time Sam Smith a former Chicago Tribune writer wrote a book in the early 90's titled "The Jordan Rules" which essentially documents the Bulls first title run. MJ comes off as self involved sociopath with a jumper. MJ had committed all the sins that players today get crucified for excessive jewelry, gambling, isolating teammates, ball stopping, coach k!lling, demanding trades you name it. But as they say "history is written by the victors".MJ's star rose at the right place and time. The NBA started to become more popular then it had ever been and MJ was the league's shining star. Before you know it he has theme song, saturday morning cartoon and all of these stories become lore instead of fact.
