yo very good post on that...and i def agree that diet is primary cause for people's lack of performance. my question is, i want your opinion on alcohol consumption, what if you have a great diet and workout routine but get smashed once a week?

good info...taking protein really helps build muscle (well weight that is to u can turn it into muscle)...creatien tho shouldnt be taken if ur not properly hydrated cuz it will hurt u more than it can help... anyways good essay and keep'em coming...

eazy.. nice post, i'm a fitness instructor and like many i kinda agree with most of it but still if your a newbie the only advice i'd give is 'it aint how much you can lift its how you lift it...... technique is the key.' and a 5ive micz said don't end up lookin like that fool that every gym has.... you know... the hench guy thats out of proportion as fu*k

^^ doesn't really matter much, but it's best to take a shake after working out, because you really need a lot of protein then, and shakes will be processed quick in your system.
any other moment of the day you can just take shakes, tuna and cottaga cheese

Diet wise... never thought of it as a diet just watching what I ate and how much I ate. Foods that I eat consistently are chicken, turkey and fish. Mostly fish. Some vegetables of course and no soda. 3 glasses of water a day if that. Also, look into some supplements. Alot of people are leary about taking pills or drinking protein shakes. if you are one of those just stick to the good ole natural way. peace peace

8) speaking of fat, you CANNOT spot reduce bodyfat. if you have big saggy man-boobies, there is no chest exercise that can make them go away. you can bench press all day long, and you will still have big droopy man-t*ts until you lose bodyfat. if you have a fat a*s, lunges and squats will not make it lean. get that out of your head right now.

aww sh*t i got some little t*tties i gotta lose haha....i didnt think about it that way. so its basically the same sh*t as if you wanna get abs? lose the fat first and then you'll lose the t*ts?



11) HIGH REPS DO NOT GET YOU "CUT".

so what does get you cut? everyone including pro trainers have told me, do higher reps of lower weight and thats how you get cut. then someone on here said the exact opposite. so im a lil confused bout that
think of it this way. You lift heavy you will have bigger muscles, and you can still look cut if you don't have any body fat. If you lift light you will have smaller muscles and you can still look cut with not fat. Point is big muscles or small muscles, fat covers them either way, get rid of the fat.

Some tips, stay away from eating too many starches like white bread and crackers. If you eat 'em, do during the day. try not to eat heavy past 9pm.
Whole grain breads are best, they have less starch.
Spread the meals out all day long eat more smaller meals instead of three big meals.
Drink a cup of water every couple hours or so.
