That's funny, because he had you bi*ches not saying sh*t when Hit Em Up Dropped. He didn't run, but moved to the best side.

Nas was the one crying himself to sleep because Pac dissed him, and Piggie was begging him join up with him to take on Makaveli, but he turned him down because he worshiped Pac.

if you know anything about 90's rap then you know disses were always subliminal... pac just proved he couldn't do it as well with a track like hit em up.

pac was just a loudmouth who craved attention. anybody who's old enough with a brain knows nas was a better rapper.

also pac would never have reached the success he did if he stayed in nyc competing with biggie and nas

I get the point your trying to make but people are overstating the importance of 2pacs location because regardless of whether he was in NY or LA he would have been a success and nothing or nobody would have stopped that.

loudmouth who craved attention...That's all it takes to become the Goat, and a Movie superstar.

Nas was the one that was planning to join up with Makaveli.

Pac now is Black Jesus in a sense; Pac is Lennon; Pac is Marvin. So, h*ll yeah, I love the fact that he starts Makaveli off and says that about me," Nas told the mag, when asked how he felt about calling Nas the ringleader on the Makaveli album. "Hell yeah. I loved him before he died. I loved him before he said anything

Nas worships Pac. The Best from NY loves the best from the West.

Pac never loses.

Lord listen to me
God don't like ugly, It Was Written
(ey yo Nas) Nas, your whole damn style is bitten
You heard my melody, read about my life in the papers
All my run-ins with authorities, felonious capers
Now you wanna live my life, so what's the answer Nas?
n*ggas that don't rhyme right, you've seen too many movies
Load em up against the wall, close his eyes
Since you lie you die, GOODBYE
Let the real live n*ggas hear the truth from me
What would you do if you was me n*gga

I prefer a bunch of albums vs. Me Against the World, but that's the thing about classics(Especially from the 90s). A LOT of them are really interchangeable. In fact, there's albums that didn't even make the tourney(The Main Ingredient, Enta Da Stage, etc.) that I wouldn't be mad if they won the whole thing..that's how deep the 90s are. IMO, this was a good tourney and a good final. It wasn't exactly who I wanted all of the time, but that's the point.
good point

Me against the world 100%

With all this extra stressin
The question I wonder is after death, after my last breath
When will I finally get to rest? Through this supression
They punish the people that's askin questions
And those that possess, steal from the ones without possessions
The message I stress: to make it stop study your lessons
Don't settle for less - even a genius asks-es questions
Be grateful for blessings
Don't ever change, keep your essence
The power is in the people and politics we address
Always do your best, don't let the pressure make you panic
And when you get stranded
And things don't go the way you planned it
Dreamin of riches, in a position of makin a difference
Politicians and hypocrites, they don't wanna listen
If I'm insane, it's the fame made a brother change
It wasn't nuttin like the game
It's just me against the world

It ain't hard to tell, I excel then prevail
The mic is contacted, I attract clientele
My mic check is life or death, breathing a sniper's breath
I exhale the yellow smoke of buddha through righteous steps
Deep like the Shining, sparkle like a diamond
Sneak a Uzi on the island in my army jacket lining
Hit the Earth like a comet – invasion!
Nas is like the Afrocentric Asian, half-man, half-amazing
Cause in my physical, I can express through song
Delete stress like Motrin, then extend strong
I drink Moet with Medusa, give her shotguns in hell
From the spliff that I lift and inhale, it ain't hard to tell

The buddha monk's in your trunk, turn the bass up
Not stories by Aesop, place your loot up, parties I shoot up
Nas, I analyze, drop a jewel, inhale from the L
School a fool well, you feel it like Braille, it ain't hard to tell
I kick a skill like Shaquille holds a pill
Vocabulary spills I'm Ill plus Matic
I freak beats, slam it like Iron Sheik
Jam like a Tec with correct techniques
So analyze me, surprise me, but can't magnetize me
Scannin' while you're plannin' ways to sabotage me
I leave 'em froze like her-on in your nose
Nas'll rock well, it ain't hard to tell

This rhythmatic explosion, is what your frame of mind has chosen
I'll leave your brain stimulated, n*ggas is frozen
Speak with criminal slang, begin like a violin
End like Leviathan, it's deep, well let me try again
Wisdom be leaking out my grapefruit, troop
I dominate break loops, giving mics men-e-strual cycles
Street's disciple, I rock beats that's mega trifle
And groovy but smoother than moves by Villanova
You're still a soldier, I'm like Sly Stone in Cobra
Packing like a Rasta in the weed spot, vocals'll squeeze Glocks
MC's eavesdrop though they need not to sneak
My poetry's deep I never fail
Nas' raps should be locked in a cell, it ain't hard to tell
