But what does this have to do with you walking around your neighborhood, roleplaying as a wrestler, for the past 3 years.........
Theoretically it helps him out. He actually still does the official shows and stuff but he can't practice at the show because the show is in progress.
I think he can still do these shows as long as he is in shape but a very small percentage of wrestlers ever make it to WWE level. Even if he does he would start out with a try out. Most people who do that never get called back. The next step would be being in a developmental territory. WWE's would be out of state and he would have to move if he got that far. Most people never go from development into real WWE. If he got that far he would start out doing untelevised 'dark matches". The next step after that would be being a "jobber" or one of the no name wrestlers that only wrestle people who are being "put over". Very few jobbers make their way up to being mid carders.
He has a goal. It is not likely but it is possible.
