If Alex Smith is that good, why did Harbs pursue Peyton Manning in the offseason?
If Alex Smith is that good, why did Kaep stay as the starter after he was cleared to play?
Why is this even about Alex Smith?
You're only argument is that Kaep plays for a good team and Cam does not. That doesn't sit right with me because this coming season, the Niners have a good chance of winning their division and going deep in the playoffs again while the Panthers have a very good chance of going 2-14 playing against the Falcons, Saints, and Bucs. So what happens if this hold true? By that logic, Kaep can never be as good as Cam even if he wins the SuperBowl this year.
Elway toook 3 pretty bad teams in the 80's to the SB, Marino was constantly reaching the playoffs. Luck as a rookie took a 2-14 team to the playoffs and so did RG3. If Cam is this super QB yall tout him to be, where are the division titles? Where's the wins? Maybe he doesn't have leadership qualities. It's a team game but QB's are measured by what they do under the big lights. Couple of garbage time TD's doesn't prove a QB's worth. I'll take Kaep's first playoff game win against the Packers over Cam's first game as a pro throwing 500 yards.
SuperBowl QB > Throwing your team under the bus after a reg season loss.
Another argument: Cam has "the potential"...Yeah and Kaep doesn't right? Dude's just getting started.
I never had anything against Cam, wasn't out to hate on him but yall hating on Kaep? I'll speak my piece.
