exorcism of Emily rose was the last movie to legit creep me out to the point where the night light was on.

Bottom line movies like this aren't gonna "scare" people who aren't spiritual or don't at the very least think there is a possibility of there being a such thing as paranormal phenomena. You have to put yourself in a certain frame of mind to fully understand and enjoy whats going on.

I'll check it out this weekend probably. Heard good things.

Not enough spoilers in this thread, I like to know exactly what im getting myself into when I go to the movies ya dig

I absolutely hate scary movies, but honestly this movie wasn't scary at all. More of a thriller like others have said.

Just saw it last night

give it a 8.5/10

pretty solid movie due to a decent amount of scare, decent amount of suspense, and a decent story

a girl in the same row as me got so scarred she started crying and had to get up and leave and that was only about 1/3 into the movie.

Favorite part of the movie was definitely the

I think the thing about the movie that made it somewhat good was how they got you emotionally invested in the characters and had this feeling of a whole good vs. evil struggle

Vera Farmiga definitely stole the show IMO , just like how she serves as a conduit for the supernatural entities in the movie she does the same for the emotional tones in the movie for the viewer. She did a great job.

I dunno why but I also find her really s3xy, especially after seeing her in the Departed and Up in the Air, I couldn't even get scarred properly in some scenes because I was like

" Oh Vera "

I think its severely overhyped. Insidious was scarier because the possession of a human being was longer. Honestly scariest movie I saw was haunting in Connecticut the tv movie, not that sh*t in theaters.
Yeah, I remember watching that years ago. fu*ked w me the first time I saw it. The movie sucked. The theatrical one.

Insidious was great movie for the first hour and some change..those last 20-25 minutes was some straight Sci-Fi channel at 3 in the morning garbage

This on the other hand was one of the best horror films I've ever seen.
