n*gga zimmerman had 100s of thousands of $ for a defense team

how is that dumb to say? no you can't donate to the state but you got his point I'm sure

ppl who make comments like these are the same ones who swear I'm dumb lol
What?

You obviously need to read his comments. He was trying to say that Black people didnt come out of pocket enough to get better prosecutors. You can't replace that state's prosecution. It can't be bought like a defense.

You're an idiot just for consigning that mess.

 TheMindOf said:
Also..

Let this be a lesson to n*ggas.

White folks raised $450 thousand for Zimmerman and his defense.

If black folks had taken all the money they spent on Skittles and Ice Tea (so they could take pictures for instagram and facebook) and put it towards the Trayvon Martin Fund, they probably could have raised well over a million dollars for his Legal team.

But no, n*ggas gotta make it about themselves. Gotta buy Skittles, Hoodies, and Iced Tea to line the pockets of Fortune 500 companies. And so they can take pictures for the internet, to show off, and show that they're down with the "cause". Meanwhile the Martin Fund only raised 100k in 2 years.

Maybe he wouldn't have had those sh*t lawyers, if n*ggas was more about this situation, and less about themselves.
That is what you're consigning. Black people didnt raise enough money to change lawyers that couldn't be change. Raising money for the state's prosecution

I'm pretty disappointed after reading the transcript of Cooper's interview with B-37.

She sounded alright until her statement about Martin's phone conversation.

COOPER: I want to ask you a bunch of the -- I want to ask you about some of the different witnesses. Rachel Jeantel, the woman who was on the phone with Trayvon Martin at the start of the incident.

What did you make of her testimony?

JUROR: I didn't think it was very credible, but I felt very sorry for her. She didn't ask to be in this place. She didn't ask -- she wanted to go. She wanted to leave. She didn't want to be any part of this jury. I think she felt inadequate toward everyone because of her education and her communication skills. I just felt sadness for her.
Read more here:

It's hard not to make this sound race related.

Plus I'm with you on Angela Corey, but this lady right here.

The entire blame of this situation is on the culture of this country.

The culture of this country led Zimmerman to think he was a cop.
The culture of this country led Trayvon to think he was hard.
The culture of this country led Zimmerman to feel he was empowered.
The culture of this country led law enforcement to not grill Zimmerman.
The culture of this country led the jurors to believe Zimmerman even with all the holes in his story.
The culture of this country led common sense to be ignored when it comes the death of a black.

Still wasn't enough evidence to convict on 2nd Degree murder either way

Instead of blaming due process..

Maybe yall should start blaming Angela Corey. Haven't heard ONE of you n*ggas mention her yet.

If Angela Corey aint try to use this case to rise through the political ranks and if she didn't overcharge Zimmerman, chances are he'd still be locked up.

But no.. Instead of doing what was right, and charging Zimmerman with something that could be proven (ie. manslaughter), she tried to be a hero and listen to a bunch of angry n*ggas who don't know nothing bout the law or burden of proof.

If she had charged him the right way, he'd probably be doing 10-15 right now. Instead he's free because SHE charged something she KNEW the state couldn't prove and was hoping the jury would bail her out.

She took a gamble (for potential political gain) and lost. Yet she gets none of this blame, cuz n*ggas don't even understand who they're supposed to actually be mad at

She gets off the hook because she doesn't "fit the description" of who people think they should be mad at.
And this, ladies & gentlemen, is nothing but the truth.

Sadly, both. He was considered suspicious for walking too slowly and then considered suspicious for running too fast. He was going to be considered suspicious no matter what he did to Zimmerman and the jury was gonna sympathize with Zimmerman.

here is his jury of peers huh????

Remember it's supposed to be a jury of GZ'S PEERS....

*The jury was 5 parts white & 1 part Spanish and all b!tch made! (as his lawyers described him)... So when you think about it, it's a perfect representation of GZ's peers.

I usually hate making race an issue but I just couldn't resist this time!

That's an interesting point you're making. Because this trial turned out to be more about Trayvon's perceived character than GZ's actions!

Man please. This is stupid. Everything he starts going in on has happened to me and I'm not a thug, don't have any tattoos, don't wear hats or jewelry, or anything of the sort. FOH.

It's systemic racism. It's institutionalized. It's part of the structure of society. It's not something you can "dress" out of. It's literally part of my make up. I had a woman who was on the hiring team that hired me say they wouldn't have hired me if my hair hadn't been the "right" way.

I've seen legions of white people get hired for jobs they weren't qualified for, while black people often don't get that same benefit. I should probably put a paper together and submit it to a journal.

I can wear a suit 24 hours a day, and I'm still a black man. And that's the bottom line for many people. They're still scared of me. They still jump when I walk around a corner. It has been coded in the culture of America for centuries, and I hope you're not dumb enough to think that fashion choices of the last 20 years are to blame rather than 100's of years of systematic oppression and discrimination that permeated every level of American society.

Take a step back and think harder.
