I have yet to listen to the album, but it's fu*king annoying when people call other people small minded and claim that they dont "get it" or "understand it" when they dont like an album. Everyone has different taste and opinions about music. You can clearly understand the direction some artists have tried to take before and sh*t just didnt sit well with some people, and for some it was great. If you hate it cool, if you like it, more power to you. Music will always be objective.

The Irony of a man that says Kanye West of all people is the greatest Hip Hop Artist of all time AND that his latest Album is Trash.........

Yeah, like saying Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time, but he went 3-17 and fouled out so he had a sh*tty game. Is this concept going over your head?

Subjective, but yeah.

I listened to some of the tracks again, mostly in the middle, just to give it another chance. Still a waste. Oh well. Maybe next time Ye.

this album will always get a mix of reviews because it's very different for Kanye and the rap genre.. this is not close to his experiments on 808 he took it further here. I think the only people he didn't actually appease to is the CDO out fans.. and that he teases them in the first track probably pissed them off even more as that sound never reared it's head until the last track. I don't think it's a classic though but it's solid. You can't look at Kanye as a rapper no more, he stopped being that a while back.

I've noticed that too.

All the n*ggas who are stuck on CD and LR keep saying the same things..

"The best part of 'On Sight' was the soul sample in the middle"

and

"I wish the whole album sounded like 'Bound 2' "

Pretty much, they wish it was another Kanye with it's foundation built on soul samples, like he's given us so many times already.

They claim to understand what he's doing on the album, yet they still begging for another College Dropout sequel..

That being said, it aint for everybody. Which is part of the beauty of it.

they really just quoted this trash as a stand out lyric

Kanye's lyrics are pretty focused too, rendering his classic themes as petulant primal screams. On "I Am a God," a lurching, nightmarish throbber, he raps: "I am a god/So hurry up with my damn massage/In the French-ass restaurant hurry with my damn croissants."

Am I the only one that seriously misses the old Kanye? His punch lines back then were SO much better. The music, just sonically was much much more enjoyable.

These two were standouts, for me.

I ask God to help me fly away
And if not
Then please keep your eye on me
These n*ggaz is bringing out the worst side of me
When you wired me
You inspired me
To become the higher me
These execs
All want the details
How I made the world bounce like
Full messeges on e-mails
But they hidin' something like she-males
So
We still
Pull up in Sprewells
The ice and me chill
Like Goldmember, I love gold
whats the point to gain the world if you lose your soul
Now
n*ggaz forcing me to keep the heater
Black strap, white handle, I got jungle fever
I went platinum
And I don't rap guns
My diamonds is whiter then Michael Jackson
Me and Miri make music you can hold to time
So take a second to listen it may blow your mind

My favorite girl wanna leave me just because I got a girlfriend
My freak girl told me now, she a Christian
My white girl wanna move back to Michigan
I'm pulling girls off the bench like a sixth man
I'm in the club doing the same ol' two step
While Omegas doing the same ol' "Q" step
I have my money on my mind I was thinking green
She a pledge A.K.A., she was pink and green
I want a good girl she want a gentleman
We sayin' the same thing like a synonym
I wasn't really spitting game I was scrimmaging
My pimpinship so hard it needs censorship
I'm a Chicagoan till Chicago ends
Till we blow like Chicago wind
I don't know what's better, getting laid or getting paid
I just know when I'm getting one, the other's getting away

All I know is Blood on the Leaves is a ridiculously good track, auto-tune or no.

Rest needs time. This album is so bipolar, I dunno how it can be given a 4.5 or 5 just by its nature alone.

I'm personally amazed by this album... Ye just did stuff for the genre yall gon have a hard time understanding for a few years to come..

To each his own though..
Yall love projecting on here. Apparently Hip Hop listeners are all hood and they're all uneducated and stupid

Please gtfoh with this sh*t. I'm a fan of several different artists...from Sleigh Bells, to NERD, to Daft Punk...etc. And I'm still not a huge fan of this album.

It's definitely not 5/5

Exactly. I mean people really acting as if every hip hop listener is hood. IF anything, if you've been listening to Kanye for the past few years...Kanye hasn't made an album that's even remotely "hood" in years.

@ people on here acting like Kanye got the Waka Flocka Gucci Mane demographic on lock
