Take the cartridge out while it's powered on or even just power it on without a cartridge and see how well it works after that.
barely even touch the cartridge and that sh*t would freeze

failure rate is system error of not working properly, ie complete malfunction of a system like the 360 has to take the cake. I never had that issue with any other system i have been thru 3. I went to gamestop the other day and met a dude that went thru 14 . Dudes are fan boys to say other wise

Exactly. You'd have to do a chant, a rain dance, commit a sacrifice and then pray the sh*t wouldn't give you the blinking blue screen when you turned it on.

You can tell which n*ggas were born in 1995, talkin about "the NES didn't have a high failure rate."
I'm saying I never thought of the sh*t having a high failure rate and i was born in 83. n*ggaz did have to be always cross they fingers for that blue screen not to come up or sometimes it would just cut on and you get nothing. but after you try all the bootleg methods to fix it sh*t was back on It was a rack of broke ones out there but they prolly jsut let the dust take over. When bammas realized all they needed was a new 72pin damn near 20-30 years later it's a rack of NES systems out working. NES and SNES and Genesis were damn near the most reliable systems. every person in here has had at least one Sony System and/or one microsoft system crap out on em.

I've owned almost every major system... including the jaguar, 3do and neo geo. The 1st generation 360's had a reeeeally high failure rate (which microsoft was fixing for free). After my second one broke they even accidentally sent me two in return but the failures tapered off after that. The 360 seems like the easy bet but I had a launch dreamcast and a bunch of them had problems. The PS1 died out a lot and even though my launch ps2 still works to this day I know a hell of a lot of people that went through a few of them. Out of all of the systems though I know more people that went through multiple NES systems then any other single system. I myself had at least three of them. The SNES was a work horse though and might get my vote as the most durable system ever.

I read about that failure rate stat a few years ago, and I'm not the one on here playing XBox 360 cheerleader, so you still lose. By default.
Quote the post where I said the 360 didn't have a high failure rate at one point in time? We are you switching up your argument? Just for lying to try and prove a point, you still lose. By default.
