do you mean upgrading flagrants after the fact or that call specifically? because raking people across the head on a fastbreak is pretty much a textbook flagrant.
Both. I'm all for if the refs you pay to do a job don't a.ssess it during the game then it's over, no coming back to fine and/or suspend for plays.
As for the play, I didn't think it was a flagrant foul. He is going for the ball misses and catches him in the head. From my view it doesn't appear his original intent was to hit Wade but it just happened. Obviously, Stu Jackson disagrees though.
I guess we should make every shot to the head a flagrant foul then. Stu should go back and upgrade to a flagrant every time a guy driving to the hoop was hit in the head accident or not. Lebron has been whacked several times by guys when driving this season and I didn't see a bunch of postgame upgrades. I guess when every guy who wears a headband got his sh*t knocked off this season on a foul even the none foul calls Stu missed those too.
sh*t is getting out of hand with the refs and the league office. I honestly think they did this trying to send a message to guys but it only makes things worse.
