My timeline 218 to 189
 

 
Hey I started this journey March 25 and it finished April 24th. I lost a total of 28 pounds in 29 days. I focused on eating the right stuff and running . First of all I downloaded the app myfitnesspal to keep up with my calories and then I download nike+ for the iPhone. I tried to run 3 miles a day. I mostly ate honey bunches of oats in the morning 3/4 of a cup and 1/4 of almond milk. I would also eat a 100 calorie snack or an apple or orange. For lunch I would eat a roasted turkey sandwich or grill chicken salad. For another snack it would be a strawberry banana smoothie.

This was how I look when I started.

After I hit 200 I decided to buy a weight bench cause I was losing so much weight so fast that I started to lose muscle mass.

I hit 189 in April and by that time I was running 3 full miles non stop and lifting weights throughout the week. This is how I look as of May. 1 full month of lifting weights.

Thanks everyone! One thing I realized is that if you get rid of cold drinks its a big difference. Also eating right is more important then exercise.

I've lost about 25 pounds in 35-40 days using that app and running three miles daily as well

I"m still hungry. I still follow my workout routine and run 3 miles 3 to 4 times a week.. This week we went on vacation to Texas. 10 o'clock at night I found a gym to get my work out in. I did two days of works outs cause I know the next day I wouldn't be able to lol. I still eat right. I did it for a month and got used to it. To me this wasn't just getting in shape it was a lifestyle change. I no longer drink cold drinks and eat fast foods. Thanks for the heads up man.
