Buy or Sell: Steph Curry is the Best PG in the Game

The way he's been playing lately is unreal, I definitely think you could make a case that he's the best PG in the league right now

i remember the year before he came out of college... he was a SG and they was talking about converting him to point so that he MIGHT have a chance at getting drafted and playing in the NBA.

They didn't even know if he could be a viable NBA product..... what a difference a few years makes.

If you are talking about scoring pg's...he's close....behind westbrook but Kyrie is a beast as well as Lillard who is gonna be a problem.

"Curry is NOT what this team needs. We need a "true" point guard, not another undersized 2. This kid is weak, lacks lateral quickness, will get ABUSED on the defensive side of the ball, no dribble, doesn't create space, chucks up shot after shot, and makes horrible decisions with the ball.
Curry is the most overrated player in college hoops"

haha damn

The pg discussion is interesting to me.. Your not considered a 'real' pg if you score a lot of points.

Its the new model in the NBA, generally you would think "shooting guards" would be the shooters, but nowadays with Westbrook and Kyrie and Steph Curry etc. thats the way of the world. I still love me some Rondo but, yeah. I'd say Steve Nash is the perfect mixture, but I love watching these new cats do their thing.

Considering Chris Paul's awful postseason track record (the most overrated leader in all my years of watching sports -- can't even get his team out of the first round) and the noise Steph is making in his first playoff run.... well.... I'll say it again: if healthy he's the best.

He's the only PG in the league capable of taking games over in spurts like he has.

And his actual PG skills are overshadowed by his scoring ability. He's got all of the tools. Nothing he can't do at an elite level.

You know what curry reminds me of? gibert arenas, he's was going through the same sh*t back then. They were calling him the best PG in the nba.

That n*gga gil would pop in front of n*ggas and hit it like it was nothing.

Arenas wasn't nearly as efficient or consistently effective as a shooter.... Arenas was more streaky than anything, though admittedly he was very clutch. Curry also has way better PG skills.
