Aw man, BlackRepub85 just gave me flashbacks. Call Center / Customer Service was my 1st gig. Never again. The company I worked for dealt with store credit cards though, not phones, but store credits is probably just as bad if not worse. It's all the same though. Supes stayed ducking calls and just wanted to kick it while their "team" took care of things. Customers bi*ch over the smallest sh*t and make phone calls longer than what they should be. And we had this requirement or "objective" where the phone call was suppose to be 3 mins or less. Imagine taking 100 calls a day and you have to resolve issues / fix accounts for every last one of em in less than 3 minutes or get bad marks.
The pay is always decent at call centers though, even when starting out. That turnover rate is something serious though. Mad stress and eventually everybody cracks at least once or twice (I went the fu*k off on a couple of people), so to save myself the trouble, I just walked the fu*k out one day. I think I burnt myself out doing so much overtime though. Would take that sh*t everytime they came around not realizing how many calls I would take in a 12 to 13 hour day.
You sound like you like call centers though so u good I guess. I don't see em rejecting you or anything for the balance. I see em garnishing your check or something along those lines though
