Hate selective arguments. Why say "since 2009", is everything prior to 2009 irrelevant? Unless you work for Rick Ross or G-Unit PR teams, that kind of selective arguments just childish. As of April 2013 50 Cent is the bigger artist, is the bigger businessman. What u saying is the same as "well since 2000 Eminem is the greatest rapper ever" WTF? MMG/Ross fans need to understand before his fat a.ss became famous, there are artists who have accomplished 10 x more than him! Dismissing history like u paid for it! SMDH
Selective argument? We talking music or are we talking business? Business wise, only a handful of rap artist have done what Curtis has(Shawn Carter, Sean John, Percy Miller to name a few). As far as music impact, I give the nod to 50 Cent there too. His album sells along with his over-all appeal carried him to icon status.
But as of today, the hotter M.C is Rick Ross. As of today, his MMG team is hotter than anyone on G-Unit. While 50 Cent is struggling to drop a album, Rick is prepping for his third album since 2010. He is constantly getting radio spins, be it solo tracks or featured. He is in demand right now. So for 50 Cent to constantly knock artists(Jay Z, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross)who are clearly booking shows and dropping hit songs after hit songs. But in turn, can't push one hot single(If you say the Eminem track, you better say it was checked cause of Em). Who can't release album for whatever reasons(lets just say its because he isn't finished with all the songs and not because Jimmy not trying to push a artist who no one is checking for anymore)...
If you're still riding 50's waves from 02-06 in 2013.. Thats cool, I won't knock it but if we talking about artist who been hot since 2010. I don't think 50 name coming up. Musically speaking chief
