STFMN went plat by the end of 94

Keep Ya Head up went 3 plat, then eventually by the end of 94 was 4 plat and now is 5 plat

2pacpalyse hit gold

Although Dear Mamma was the song that real helped him break further into the mainstream, the rest is history

So yes indeed Pac had plat plaques on his wall early in his career

not many rappers had multi plat singles

There were a handful of gangsta/hardcore rappers selling plat singles in 91-93. Not many were able to go plat with their album, Pac managed to do that.

Pac was a youngster rising up the ranks still finding his style and dropping critically acclaimed songs like Brendas Got a Baby and Keep Ya Head Up, he was one of the few rappers his age doing so.

By the time he made MATW he was the complete package as far as flow, delivery, production and knowing what songs work for him, and Dear Mamma took him to a new level as far as fame and respect from the mainstream.

Not every urban rap artist had a plat single in 91-93...

I asked first, lets shorten the number name me 50 urban rap artist going plat between 91-93

Lets take one of the most successful urban rappers prior to 2pacs generation...LL Cool J

LL went plat in 1990 with Mamma Said Knock You Out...come 1993 his album struggled to go Gold, Pacs album outsold LL's in 93, even Keep Ya Head Up sold more than any single on that album.

Big Daddy Kane acknowledged Pac as one of the solo rising stars in 94, cuz he was shifting units while older rappers like himself their sales were declining

Pac came on the scene and each album he released he got better and better and them ol heads took notice of him.

Lol n*ggaz reading RiAA certifications on Wikipedia acting like Pac Huge was a star before the beef with Big

At the end of the day PAC knew who shot him, and let Suge (who had beef with puff, Wolf and other a.ssociates before the 94) put a battery in his back to sell some records

n*ggaz don't want to hear it though so whatever

Yes Pac was perfect didn't have any flaws to his character

Read the thread dude. All of y'all keep ignoring the points already brought up, y'all just can't stand the fact that the beef was NOT a focal point of the record sales. Had it been, Big would've been all over AEOM. But Hit Em Up wasn't. Let it fu*kin go already
